I want to know how to say “でたらめ”in English.

Example; 私の娘はでたらめに ロックの曲を歌った。

でたらめ。。。 Giblish is a good word to use. I've just looked it up in an online dictionary. It wasn't listed, but it's a word people actually use. The lyric you sing can be "giblish" if you don't even use actual words or you come up with your own made-up lyric.

You can't use this word if you want to say something like でたらめに並べる。For that, you should use "at random" or "randomly."

The reason you couldn't find it in the dictionary is because it's spelled "gibberish". Usage example:

The rock songs my daughter sang were nothing but gibberish. I couldn't understand a word.
