How a writer at Asahi passed checkpoints by Chinese police.

Today’s Asahi wrote in great detail how a writer at Asahi, 奥寺淳, was able to reach the spot of the train accident across several police checkpoints. Accordingly, he could vividly report that the cars were destroyed and buried in the ground. It was an interesting story. His report was thought highly of by people in Japan.

Unfortunately, the page is, however, only for paid readers. Although Asahi.com provides a button to tweet on the article, I wonder how useful it is. What is annoying is that there are differences in content between for paid and unpaid readers without any notice, even if an article is the “same” one.
