I just read about this Sharia Law days ago. According to the article, it is cast from Muhammad's words and actions. To me, this law feels barbaric and ridiculous at the same time.
For instance, according to Sharia Law:
The punishment for a Muslim who becomes a non-Muslim is to put to death. (Where is freedom of religion?)
A girl or woman who alleges raрe without producing 4 male witnesses is guilty of adultery. And the punishment for a girl or woman found guilty of adultery is to stone to death. (How would a woman get raped when there are 4 males on her side at the scene?)
A man convicted of raрe can have his conviction dismissed by marrying his victim.(So rape is considered a proposal?)
Muslim men have sexuaI rights to any girl/woman not wearing the Hijab.(Really?)
Muslims should lie to non-Muslims to advance Islam. (I have no words for this one!!!)
Since I'm not an expert, I'd like to know if this is real or not. Is it considered an ancient, abolished thing? Or is it still in use? If you are a Muslim, what's your opinion on this law? Please let me know. Thank you.
