I worked at Japanese antiques shop before. I was in charge of buying to seting price and selling at there. I bought some antiques almost as free.

One day, I bothered about seting price on a Japanese lacquer bowl. It had a pattern, but its looking was amateurish and cheap. If I set price based its looking, its looking would be more cheap. So I decided to dare to sell it on high price.

When I was selling at the shop, customer came to the shop.
And the customer asked me on seriousness face with the Japanese lacquer bowl,
“ Is this artist's work?”

I think the value of the thing may be like this way.
