Rebuilding our house is going to finish in the middle of the next month.
A master builder and we talked to use some old sliding doors and shoji screens for the new house.
Yesterday a carpenter who makes a specialty of fitting came here and adjust shoji screens for new Japanese rooms.
He said to me, "Your sliding doors too wide for the new room. If you use them, they will overlap each other for about ten centimeters. You should talk about that with the master builder," and he left for his home.
I wonder why the master builder didn't make walls to fit the old sliding doors with the new room.
Does it his mistake?
Or didn't he care about that?
We can't break the new walls now, so we should think about the doors...
