Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English says "greenhouse" means that a glass building used for growing plants that need warms, light, and protection.

My husband planted seeds of bitter gourd (voluble stem) along the building frames of a greenhouse at the beginning of summer in this year.
They has grown bigger and bigger, and now they cover almost whole the frames.
So they became a quit simply green house.
It's beautiful and is hanging some bitter gourds.
