American Sales Person

I met a sales person who proposed some IT solution to our company for the first time with my colleagues in an IT related division.
As I’m not accustomed to IT, it was too difficult for me to understand his explanation with IT terms.
However I got a good impression with his way of negotiation with us.
He tried to sell not what they could provide but what we wanted with much knowledge.
It’s natural attitude for sales person, but it’s difficult to make his customer feel like that.
He will make a presentation based on today’s hearing from us next week.
I’m looking forward it.
