I wonder whether English idiom is important.

Majority of English tests are include idioms and phrasal verbs in Taiwan. It always causes me headache.

Why did I say that? because like this idiom:Break your leg! It means good luck to you especially when an actor or actress start their performance on the stage.

If I merely look at this idiom directly, I don't really understand what does it mean.

I might misunderstand that the idiom means your leg is really broken.

Should I still focus on learning English idiom?

(我想知道是否學習英語慣用語很重要)

Majority of English tests are include idioms and phrasal verbs in Taiwan. It always causes me headache.
(在臺灣有多數英語測驗都包含了慣用語和片語的測驗,這總是讓我很頭痛)

Why did I say that? because like this idiom:Break your leg! It means good luck to you especially when an actor or actress start their performance on the stage.
(為何我這麼說?因為比如就像這個慣用語:Break your leg!它指的是祝你好運,特別是當演員在舞臺上開始他們的演出)

If I merely look at this idiom directly, I don't really understand what does it mean.
(若我僅緊直接看這個慣用語,我真的不懂它是什麼意思)

I might misunderstand that the idiom means your leg is really broken.
(我可能會誤以為這個慣用語真的指你的腿斷了)

Should I still focus on learning English idiom?
(我應該繼續學習英語慣用語嗎?)
