Making a Story With Some Phrasal Verbs

Today I learned some new phrasal verbs, therefore I tried to combine them with a story, here are the phrases I will apply:

To back up someone、to be fond of、to be well off、to break out、to calculate on.

Tom is fond of play jazz, in order to back up with him, his friends suggested him don't merely calculate on himself, because some well-known bands are well off on their popularity, he could ask for join these bands. one day one of the band his friends suggested were break out to take place of a new band member interview, Tom went to there.
