Is there anyone to help me? :). I read an article from BBC. I found that the BBC boss is threatened to death by someone. A popular presenter was dropped from Top Gear. He seems to be loved by a lot of fans, but he was allegedly accused of punching a producer. I guess some lunatic fan of him emailed to the boss. On the other hand, I can't understand what means in the "following part". I can't understand what role the phrases have in the context. Can you translate the part or change them to the other phrases ? I will add the article link too. Thank you.

"The row - which took place on 4 March - was said to have occurred because no hot food was provided following a day's filming."
