[suggestion] skype meeting

hello :)
I was looking around our forum and found that pretty much all that’s written is "add me posts". (Well at least since i joined)
I don’t really know any of you fellow group members and i don’t know how much you chit chat on skype actually.
Well what i was thinking was to maybe announce some skype meetings here on our board. (i know it might be difficult because of the time differences) and get to know each other :) also for those of your who are a bit shy i think it helps to have more people around and if there’s both native English/Japanese people in the conversation you dont have to worry that much if you are a beginner to English/Japanese since you can just talk to those with the same native language as you and listen to those of the language your learning at the same time or participate a little.. Win win situation.

That’s it.
I would like to hear some of your opinions on this :D

I think it's a great idea! I would definitely be interested in some skype meetings.

It sounds like fun! As Nelle pointed out, time differences will make it difficult...
Japan standard time is 9 hours ahead of UTC...

I don't mean to sound like a spoilsport but I prefer learning one on one.
Group talks only lead to people feeling left out :(

hmm i don’t quite agree with you on that littlewing, i usually do group talks on skype don’t think anyone feels left out :)
Also i think it is a great way to get to know more people to talk to on skype and more people from the group knowing each other means more skype talks also one on one if that’s what you prefer.

Because the time difference, we seldom meet. I think others too. Talks one on one is a good idea. But the lack of opportunity.
