tomomonkey : College Education Necessary for Everyone (3)

I absolutely agree with the idea that a college education is necessary for everyone. In fact, the more young tend to contribute to society using knowledge and skills learned in a college. There are three reasons why everybody needs a college.

First of all, a college education gives students more employment opportunities. It is essential to learn latest knowledge and skills in every business situations. Added this, experiences such as going abroad to study also is beneficial experience students can use to have strong appeal in job interviews.

Secondly, a college can offer on-the-job training. In teaching training, for example, we have opportunities to go to school as practice-teaching for a while. In addition, under the cooperation between college and company, students are provided to do their internship program.

Finally, a college contributes to students’ having personal goals. To complete thesis in final year means that students can input special knowledge as well as work together with others, for instance. They realize how important to make effort as much as possible to achieve aims though a variety of many projects in lessons.

Therefore, it can be said that there are many advantages in studying in a college. For above reasons, a college education is required for all of us.

tomomonkey : To Eliminate World Hunger (2)

More should be done to eliminate world hunger. In fact, according to U.N. statistics, one dies of starvation in four seconds all over the world. There are three reasons why we should tackle the problem of food shortage more.

First of all, genetically modified (GM) crops can be available to increase food supply. Nobody has proved that they are harmful for our health, which means we are more worried than we have to. The farmers in developing countries can make new GM products that can be grown in sever climate such as land near desert.

Second, fair trade could be promoted to supply food for all the people in need of food rather early. It is sad that large part of food is imported to rich countries, some of which waste too many dishes every day. The key to the solution is the trade system to divide food products among all the countries in proportion to population.

Finally, war can be stopped to maintain farmland. Weapons devastated the whole country from earth to forest. Added to this, war encourages a multitude of children to become soldiers because of dainty repasts in troop.

Therefore, it can be said that there are many things to do to remove world hunger. For the above reasons, we should take more measures for it.

tomomonkey : The World’s Wilderness Areas Better Protected (1)

The world’s wilderness areas definitely need to be better protected. In fact, a poll in Australia shows that they believe the environment should take priority over the farmers in Basin. There are three reasons why wilderness regions need to be defended in the world in good ways.

First of all, protecting the world’s wilderness areas can contribute to biodiversity. Wild animals and plants always require nature feeding them as well as providing home for them. For example, bears from destructed woods came down to where humans live, which made us feel scared in Japan.

Second, it could increase the number of ecotourism. It could allow us to know what wild animals and plants are like by actual experiences. Added to this, this is good opportunities for students to learn what to do for wilderness in the future.

Finally, it would lead to saving rights of indigenous peoples. They have exploited wilderness in the search of their comfortable life based on their particular tradition for a long time. For instance, nomad would lose their way of life if modernized by such mores as highly improved information technology.

Therefore, it can be said that there are many advantages in protecting wilderness areas. For the above reasons, they need to be better saved all over the world.

tomomonkey : Society Dealing with Violent Crime (4)

Society is doing enough to deal with violent crime. In fact, the UN Security Council has tackled international affairs under passed resolutions. There are three reasons why society is handling violent crime fully.

First of all, school education is playing an important role in reducing violent crime. For last ten years, the United Nation has enlightened the world to protect human rights from violence. The movement has led to the new study of anger management in pedagogy.

Second, stricter punishments can have good effects on a deterrent of violent crime. Prisons are effective way against it because of losing freedom in jail. Added to this, we try to avoid debasing ourselves by judgments based on severe punishments.

Finally, surveillance cameras can inhibit impulses committing crimes of violence. They can record all the things that happened as positive facts. For example, the murder making all Japanese feel nervous was captured thanks to the cameras installed along the roads last year.

Therefore, it can be said that we are enjoying safe lives in the highly-developed society. For all above reasons, I can assert that society is doing enough to cope with violent crime.

tomomonkey : Caffeine Pills (8)

Caffeine pills should definitely be banned from sport. In fact, it has caused much controversy after a football player was hospitalized due to taking caffeine tablets before big games in Australia. There are three reasons why caffeine pills should be prohibited in sport.

First of all, caffeine pills can cause health problems because it has bad effect on our body. A report says that caffeine inhibits absorption of nutrients such as calcium. Added to this, it associates mental disorder because it decreases blood flow to the brain.

Secondly, it would lead to ethical questions. It is unfair for athletes to take medicine helpful enough to increase the ability to win the first prize. Consequently, it could change our attitudes toward sports, leading to the unhopeful movement that people try to find pills in shops instead of practicing hard.

Finally, it could raise monetary problems. It cost sport fans extra money on caffeine, preventing the poor from participating in sport events. As a result, sports would become unpopular in developing countries.

Therefore, it can be said that there are many disadvantages in using caffeine pills in sports. For all the above reasons, they should be removed from sports.

tomomonkey : Government Keeping Secrets (5)

Government should definitely be allowed to keep secrets. In fact, some documents exposed by Wikileaks caused a disquieting atmosphere among countries all over the world. There are three reasons why government should not be prohibited from keeping secrets.

First of all, government’s keeping secrets would contribute to maintaining security for a citizen. Spillage of the information of soldier working to keep us safe would help opponents to know national maneuvers. It is also dangerous enough for terrorists to get our week points.

Secondly, it could spread panic to the nations. For example, in a famous movie, “Independence Day”, the American president asserted our planet to be saved while not sure the survival chance of humans. Avoiding telling truth played an important role in maintaining public disorder.

Finally, it would help to strengthen trust among countries. Top secrets are so sensitive that statesmen must deal with information carefully. No one could open negotiations with the countries publicizing what happened there to mass media multiple times.

Therefore, it can be said that there are many disadvantages in revealing secrets to the nations. For that reason, government should be permitted to keep secrets.

tomomonkey : Gas Companies Drill on Private Property (1)

Gas companies should definitely not allowed to drill on private property. In fact, many farmers in Australia protest against their policy. There are three reasons why they ought to be prohibited to dig for gas on private land.

First of all, drilling on private property could contribute to the destruction of the environment. The stuff built to dig on farmer’s’ property has bad effect on livestock as well as the habitat of wild animals. Added to this, trucks running on new roads to private property would release much carbon dioxide causing global warming..

Secondly, it would raise acute money problems. Because lands for farming are smaller, productivity would low, decreasing their income in total even if they get compensation. For example, Australian farmers have sought enough monetary compensation from coal seam gas companies.

Finally, it could lead to the violation of landownership. It is natural for everyone to have the same right as to proprietary right. If admitted to intrude into private property, landholders would lose their right under the name of the use of the business and other spheres.

Therefore, it can be said that there are many disadvantages in landholder being losing their private property by gas companies. For that reason, they should not be permitted to drill on private property.

tomomonkey : Society with Aging Population Facing a Crisis (2)

Society with aging population will definitely face a crisis in the future. In fact, some specialists propose that Japan should change the social system for all generations in several years. There are three reasons why we will get confronted with a crisis resulted from society with aging population.

First of all, society with aging population could lead to a bad cycle of low birthrate. The small population of children will focus more on social welfare than education. Therefore, it’ll be more difficult to born babies, who also won’t try to do so when they grow up in the next generation.

Secondly, it could produce a bad effect on health care. Doctors and nurses in hospitals would not be able to help too many patients in need effectively. Added to this, stuffs would be shorter in day care, where they don’t get sufficient salary even now.

Finally, it would require more taxes than we pay. For example, the system of the health insurance would get disrupted due to unfair tax payment imposed on minor workers. Consequently, they lose too much money to use, causing the economic collapse.

Therefore, it can be said that society with aging population has many difficulties. For that reason, a crisis will confront it in the future.

tomomonkey : The Benefits of Genetically Modified Crops (2)

The benefits of genetically modified crops outweigh the dangers. In fact, whilst it is assumed groundlessly that genetically modified (GM) crops may do serious damage to our health, the scientific knowledge surely have created a varieties of GM foods with many advantages in cultivation. There are three reasons why it is more important for us to produce GM crops.

First of all, GM crops can lead to the deterrent of global warming. GM crops need less fuel because farmers don’t use machines to cultivate farmlands many times. Consequently, this could result in steady food supply including normal crops all around the world.

Secondly, it can have the strong resistance to disease and pests. A study introducing GM crops shows that only one chemical can prevent them from dying easily due to pest and disease. Added to this, it is also said that the element made in crops can kill inimical creatures.

Finally, it could contribute to world hunger. The countries succeeding in producing more crops than they need can provide them for other countries hoping for more foods. Also, they could cultivate GM crops modified to survive in specific infertile areas.

Therefore, it can be said that GM crops will play an important role in food production. For that reason, the advantages of GM crops definitely outweigh the dangers.

tomomonkey : Duck Hunting in Australia (7)

Duck hunting should definitely not be allowed in Australia. In fact, Australia has many angry protesters, some of whom established the institution to save duck. There are three reasons why duck hunting should be removed from Australia.

First of all, duck hunting would result in the destruction of duck ecology. Random shootings between males and females, as well as adults and young, lead to losing the balance for them to breed fully. A scientist in the interview by ABC claimed that it would takes 5 years to get their numbers back to normal again after losing them a lots.

Secondly, it is too cruel in terms of a sport as leisure. The hundreds of bullets from shotguns used in duck hunting spread straight to ducks that don’t become fatal after being shut by a few bullets. Some could get injured, others suffer from prolonged pain until their death, sometimes even for days.

Finally, it could cause unexpectedly sadly accidents. It is dangerous enough for hunters not only to kill irrelevant people but to make shotguns exploded by mistake. Here is an example that it believed bullets ricocheted off when 12-year-boy was shot in Australia.

It can be said that there are many disadvantages in duck hunting. For that reason, duck hunting should be prohibited in Australia.

Dogs and cats should definitely not be displayed in pet shop windows. In fact, all pet shops are prohibited from putting them in windows in most of the countries in Europe. There are three reasons why we should abrogate pet shop windows for them.

First of all, displaying dogs and cats in pet windows would result in losing their opportunities to be socialized fully. Divided into each windows soon after birth, they are taught how and what to do by their parents, which could bring about big problems for owners to grow them up.

Secondly, it could lead to impulsive buying without making responsible decisions. Pets in clean windows are attracting enough for us to feel like carrying them off. ABC reports that the number of maltreatment and abandonment of pets culminates after Christmas.

Finally, it would cause much stress on dogs and cats. It is too miserable that they are as to exposure to a large number of human eyes all the time. What is worse, the restraint continues day after day pending their being sold.

It can be then said that there are many disadvantages in pet shop windows. For that reason, displaying dogs and cats in them should be taken out.

tomomonkey : NOT more Nuclear Power Plants (4)

We should definitely not build more nuclear power plants. In fact, the nuclear power plant in Fukushima got too serious accidents for humans to control the systems in the aftermath of Japanese earthquake. There are three reasons why new nuclear plants should not be constructed in the future.

First of all, nuclear power plants could result in serious damage to us once the accidents happen. The radiation ray emitted in the atmosphere is harmful for our health and the environment. The worst accident of the nuclear power plant in Chernobyl led to incurring heavy casualties and evacuating residents for life.

Secondly, nuclear power plants always produce dangerous nuclear wastes. It is difficult to find the places to dispose of them. While we could bury deep in the earth, all the countries except America and Russia cannot decide where to throw them way because their grounds are not large enough to do so.

Finally, nuclear power plants would contribute to global warming. The report shows that due to the fuel needed in carrying materials for operation, they release plenty of carbon dioxide. Consequently, it is suspicious for them to play an important role in solving the global warming.

It can be then argued that there is no advantage in nuclear power plants. For that reason, we should not construct them more.

tomomonkey : People Losing their Moral Values (3)

People in modern society are definitely losing their moral values. In fact, Japanese government advocates that school education must focus on moral education than moral before. There are three reasons why moral values are lowering these days.

First of all, education dose not play an important role in improving kids’ moral value fully. Schools have regarded that to get high score in the achievement tests is more important than to cultivate children’s mind. Consequently, students lose the opportunities to consider what to do for others as well as the corporation between school and home becomes weak.

Secondly, public manners apparently become wrong. It is a good example to see not only passengers talking their mobile phone, but nobody cautioning them not to do. That’s because they try to keep them from hassles, which is the same as other unreasonable manners in public.

Finally, the Internet has the bad effects on moral values. Not needing to talk in person, they tend to write derogatory comments on the website. It sometimes leads to serious bullying, some of which become the social problem as children’s suicides in Japan.

It can be said then that we should think how to behave for others. For that reason, people in modern society are debasing themselves in their moral values.

I definitely agree on the idea that gambling should be banned. In fact, many people unfortunately live a miserable life due to losing in gambling. There are three reasons why gambling should be removed from our society.

First of all, gambling always leads to criminal activities. Police claim that some of the money betted in games, though it is huge, is handed down straight to gangs. It would cause our society to get inundated with illegal acts as well the level of social security goes down.

Secondly, gambling would result in unhopeful family relations. The infatuation with it deprives family members from spending the precious time such as enjoying talking and going out in vacations. The statistics show the divorce resulted from gambling is numerous.

Finally, gambling could do serious damages to our health. The losers feel too irritated when they lose games to keep in good mood. An experiment in America reports that rats died after being infused with chemicals in breath emitted from ah hour indignation.

It can be said then that gambling is too harmful for us. For that reason, I strongly agree that it should be prohibited.

tomomonkey : Japan Play a Bigger Role in International Affairs. (1)

Japan should definitely play a bigger role in international affairs. In fact, Japan is rich enough to help others both economically and mentally. There are three reasons why Japan has a bigger leadership in the world.

First of all, Japan has good chances for cultural exchanges. Educations such as university allow us to learn the value as well as the tradition expressed by students from a variety of countries. Especially, the Japanese government has offered a special budget for the new educational support for years.

Secondly, it can extend development aid to the world. We are facing the knowledge-based society where we must have the knowledge about the information technology. The high level of skill helps modernize the developing countries to live more comfortable life.

Finally, Japan can strongly claim nuclear disarmament. Japan is the only country where nuclear bombs were dropped over civilians. This means that Japan can provide how macabre it was in terms of experiences and evidence.

It can be said then that Japan has a lot of possibilities to make the world better.
tomomonkey : The Benefits of Hosting International Sporting Events (2)

The benefits of hosting international sporting events absolutely outweigh the disadvantages. In fact, many countries raised their hands to host the World Cups 2022 last year. There are three reasons why the benefit always outweighs the disadvantages in the host country.

First of all, hosting international sports events can give a good chance to make a steady infrastructure. It includes making the new network of public transportations such as subways constructed for the Olympic in China. Consequently, it would also leads to a comfortable life after the events.

Secondly, it would grow national prides in their minds. Achieving success as the international host brought about the confidence in leadership and techniques. We can historically regard one of the reasons Japan have developed sharply after the World War II as succeeding in Tokyo Olympic.

Finally, it results in galvanizing tourism. The fans from overseas would spend much money on hotel, sport goods and traditional foods. In addition to this, it could play an important role in the introduction as sightseeing.

It can be said, then, that the host of international sport events have many advantages over the country.
tomomonkey : Cyclists Wearing Helmets (1)

Cyclists should definitely be made to wear helmets. In fact, it has been a low to wear a helmet while riding a bike in Australia since 1991. There are three reasons why it is compulsory to wear helmets.

First of all, helmets can always protect us in unexpected accidents. To consider wearing helmets in motorcycle riding finds it natural for bike riders to do because bikes also go so fast on roads. A Medical report says that helmets could keep us from getting damage to skulls in traffic accidents.

Next, it is easy and cheap to wear helmets. It takes only a few seconds before bike riding even if we are in a hurry. In addition, some money allows us to get a helmet and use it for life.

Finally, to wear helmets would enlighten us on the importance of safety. It is a good chance to recognize the danger on roads again. This is the same effect as when we wear uniforms in our workplaces.

It can be said, then, that helmets plays an important role in bike riding. For that reason, it should be compulsory for cyclist to wear them.

tomomonkey : More Music Lessons in Schools (8)

There should absolutely not be more music lessons in school. In fact, the upper-elementary school kids will start to learn English from this April instead of increasing music lessons. There are three reasons why we ought not to have more music lessons in school.

First of all, we have faced the knowledge-based society now. It requires children to get how to deal with information in society. Therefore, teachers have to teach how they should think and do voluntarily through the humanities and the science more than arts.

Secondly, there is a big gap between music taught in school and one we enjoy as an entertainment. Pop is the mainstream in the music market. In addition to this, school teachers do not introduce a variety of genres from classic to rock whilst it is impossible to do so in the divided time.

Finally, school does not have plenty of a school budget for kids to have their own instrumentals. Consequently, unless children belong to music clubs, they seldom have chance to play them. It is not at all interesting just to sing or play handy ones for many years.

In conclusion, it can be said, then, that music lessons do not play a main role in school education. For that reason, there should not be more music lessons in schools.

First of all, match-fixing betrays fans. They vigorously cheer for their favorite players because they want them to win, and some of fans respect them as much as they aspire to becoming such fine athletes. Therefore, fan would lose confidence and dream in sports at all.

tomomonkey : Sport Players in Match-Fixing (1)

Sport players should absolutely be banned for life if they are guilty of match-fixing. In reality, sumo wrestlers lost the right to fight in Japan because they fixed fights many times to stay in a better position of the list and get much money. There are three reasons why they should be got out of sport in match-fixing.

First of all, match-fixing betrays sport fans. They vigorously cheer their favorite players because they want them to win, and some of them are respectful enough to practice hard to aspire to becoming such fine players. Therefore, match-fixing breaks fan’s confidence and dream at all.

Next, it leads to spreading illegal gambling. It is unfair that that the limited gamblers know what will happen in the game. It could cause the collapse of entertainments in other genres such as bet in horse racing.

Finally, prohibiting match-fixing plays an important role as deterrent. Even if the penalty is to be banned for a few matches, players would try to get more money in total in the deal. On the contrary, the penalty “for life” results in fear the fear that they never make their money as sport players if found guilty.

It can be said, then, that there are much advantage in match-fixing. For that reason, sport players should be banned for good if they are guilty of fixing a fight.

tomomonkey : Police Using Tasers (1)

Police should definitely be allowed to use Tasers. In fact, they have played an important role in Australia. There are three reasons why police should not prohibited from using Tasers.

First of all, police have the right to defense themselves against criminals. They are dangerous enough to hurt and sometimes even kill police and civil. Not only can police shoot them from a good distance, they also don’t inflict the fatal damage to them.

Secondly, police have cameras installed on their Tasers. Thanks to them, we can judge how police used it under what situation. It causes us to judge whether to shot reasonably even if they are suspected if they use in right way under serious condition.

Finally, Tasers could be deterrent force. We try not to commit crime in order to avoid being shot by police. Added to this, it stops criminals from attack police to use powerful weapons such as Tasers.

It can be said, then, that we have much advantages over the usage of Tasers police have with them. For that reason, police should be permitted to use Tasers.

tomomonkey : Australia fighting the War in Afghanistan (1)

Australia should not continue fighting the war in Afghanistan. In reality, many Australian people claim that it is time to let army leave back down for Australia. There are three reasons why Australia has to stop fighting the war there.

First of all, it is so dangerous that Australia have lost a large number of the people. Life is more important than any other thing in the world. We would not forget that we are born not to kill precious friends but to help each other.

Next, the war spends much money in total. They would make the most of the money for such something necessary as education, health, and social welfare. We must first consider what people invoke to live a comfortable life.

Finally, Australia can give the different kinds of support for both America and Afghanistan. As the same as Japan, it is possible to give money and stuff to demand the needs of everyday life. Added to this, they also help find the terrorists and keep peace with less violence.

It can be said, then, that Australia does not have good advantages over the war in Afghanistan. For that reason, they should not keep on taking part in it.

tomomonkey : Movies from an Online Service (2)

I would prefer to rent movies from an online service than a DVD shop. In fact, just as the same as other countries, it is getting popular in Japan too. There are three reasons why I like to get an online service better than to go to a DVD shop.

First of all, it can save us much time. For example, we don’t need to go out of our house to get and give back DVDs. Rural area sometimes requires us to drive for tens of minutes.

Secondly, it is very kind to our environment. It is not necessary to get receipt and bags you always get after shopping. Added to this, DVDs themselves would not become countless garbage in the future, which also means no shipping at all.

Finally, it allows us to get much access easily. All we have to do is type name we look for, and then just click and wait for a short time. On the other hand, we are not sure which DVD shops to go to get them.

It can be said, then, that an online service has much advantages. For that reason, I would love to rent movies from an online shop instead of a DVD shop.

tomomonkey : Big Sport on Free TV (1/2) (0)

Big sports should definitely be shown on free TV instead of pay TV. In fact, more than over 90 percent of Australian children have the same opinion according to the poll in 2010. There are three reasons why they should show big sports on free TV.

First of all, free-to air TV allows all people to watch sports. If we need to pay money, Those who are poor but love them cannot enjoy themselves. It has the disadvantages of spreading fun of sports and leading to building up of health bodies.
Next, it is one of the best ways to make money by putting advertisements and showing them on the TV screen. We all know that everyone watches them many times in a game at home. Big games lead to the possibility that free-to air TV get more profit indirectly than pay TV directly.

Finally, sport events and its outcome are one of the common sense we have to know in everyday life. This is the same as the latest news broadcasted for free. Therefore, it is better to have good chance to watch them on TV whenever and wherever we want to.

It can be, then, said that free TV has more advantages than pay TV. For this reason, big sports should be broadcasted on free-to air TV.

tomomonkey : Free-Range Products (1/2) (2)

I would pay more for free-range products than ones grown in gestation stalls in Australia. In fact, ABC news says that the number of people who want to buy them have been increasing these days. There are three reasons as to why I prefer to buy free-range products.

First of all, free-range products are much more delicious. That’s because diary exercises leads to building up healthy bodies. This is the same as the fact that the quality of sea fish is better than that of fish tank.
Secondly, I consider whether to purchase which products from the view point of animal right. The livestock in free range can run around, play with friends, and eat whatever they want basically whilst the others cannot even turn round as tied in very small rooms. We do not have the right to control their movement perfectly.

Finally, free range products should be the mainstream in the market. If farmers come to know customers buy free free-range products more, then they would change their mind to change their ways. Added to this, money we pay leads to making better condition as farm.

Free-range will be an important strategy in the future as Tasmanian bans gestation stalls from 2017. For that reason, I would purchase more free-range products.

tomomonkey : Cheap Supermarket Milk in Australia (1/2) (4)

Would you buy cheap supermarket milk in Australia where two of their biggest supermarkets have dropped the price of the milk of their home brand? My answer is NO. In reality, it seems very attracting while we are in the supermarkets. However, there are three reasons as to why we should not do that.

First of all, lowing milk prices causes much damage to farmers. They cannot get reasonable benefits for their efforts from supermarkets. Not only can some of them lose their jobs but the number of children who want to be a farmer will be slashed.
Secondly, it is impossible for small shops to compete with the two biggest supermarkets. Added this, dairy processors lose good chance to run factories as well. They will lead to the collapse of food market.

Finally, only two big markets can control milk prices after all. This means that they make much money extraordinarily. We all are very worried about what is the next target in such other categories as vegetable and meats.
While we spend less money on cheaper milk at this moment, we pay more money for the two big supermarkets than we have to in the long run. Therefore, I would not purchase the milk of two biggest supermarkets’ home brand.
Next, decision itself has no meaning if it is possible for others to change what donor decided before one’s death. In that case, nobody could feel that their wish will be respectful in the future. In a way, decision equals what has to be done by who have decided.

Finally, the system of an organ donation depends on the wishes. For example, we are required to carry cards with us which show whether or not we give our organ after death. Added to this, they play an important role in the condition of organ donation.

In conclusion, relatives should be permitted to overturn wishes of an organ donor.
