I checked the link and I still don't understand...
Is the Mom the one saying 「そんな母さんいやだよ。」? If so, maybe it would be better to say "I don't want to be that kind of mother."
On another note, you can say "by the end of summer" or "at the end of summer," but there is a different nuance. The first means that you gradually change until you become a panther, and the second means that you will stay the same until the until the end of summer, and then you will become a panther.
The second advice is so educative for me. Thank you!^^
2) ‘I will be a panther at the end of summer!’ ‘I hate you in that condition, Mom.’ (It would probably better to say 'I hate it when you're like that, Mom.' than 'I hate you in that condition, Mom'.
