I read a daily newspaper and got surprised at Nobel Prize news.
Three Japanese physicians win Nobel about subatomic physics.
I have some ideas about the quantum theory, though I can't understand their discovering the origin of the broken symmetry, which proves gravity.
When I watched CNN news on the net later, I was amazed again.
Because the US news said an American and two Japanese won Nobel.
One of them is Prof. emeritus Yoichi Mambu who was born in Japan, but moved to the US and became a US citizen. He is treated as the US citizen.
I think the US news is right, but I understand Japanese news appealed he is Japanese.
In a couple of decade Japan nationalism weaken and weaken.
Japanese authorities have apologized many Asian countries.
Everybody seemly want to boast it at a time like this.
See you! (^ -)☆

I find it funny, because lately i've found most of these things to be just things to make the news. Much of what we call science these days is mearly speculation. We have so many parts to the theories of quantum physics, however we still fail to prove most of them with an experiment, which is what science is. Science is repetative and controlled experimentation to prove or disprove a conjuecture (or "hypothesis"). However, it's not that anymore, now it's just a nobel prize show and who has more money to fund project A and who can blame who for this, and why there is/are or isn't/aren't a deity/any dieties. When was the last time any of this new age science ever came up with a real solution to a problem? There was a time when science DID come up with concerete solutions to problems. Now we're just going into topics for "the sake of understanding" (actually, for sake of either winning an argument or getting a job) where there are no real results comming from it.
However, to every honest scientist out there, i do not blame you or criticize you. I only criticize the people who are wasting money and resources when there are much more real problems out there, like cancer or energy.
Thank you, Kohlrak.
I also wish science would help many people, not for money.
