Wonderful season has come!
We can taste the best hearvest in the autumn.
I love sweet potates, beans, chestnuts, and Japanese persimmon!
I have a sweet spot on chestnuts rice.
These are monsters of suger and carbohydrate. ^^
I'd like to talk about chestnuts.
First, I believed the proverb "pull a person's chestnuts out of the fire" was Japanese proverb until now. hehe. ^^
Second, people in Japan call "marron" as chestnuts so English learners sometimes make a mistake. I've had experience that English teachers fool me when using marron to describe chestnuts. The color of chestnuts, however, is maroon which stems from marron as you might know. Uhh, complicated.

The only Japanese "tricks" I know with chestnuts （くり） also involve squirrels (りす)...

Can I use "sugar" in a plural form?
Since I am studying nutrition some because I am working to become a personal trainer, I am well-acquainted with "sugars" and "carbohydrates" as topics because they're unhealthy when you have too much. Haha.
