Every day, the mass media and LDP (the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, which occupied the government for almost 54 years) denounces the Kan government and TEPCO, by drawing from foreign media opinion. Newspapers in Japan are full of the angry voices of foreign media. However, I think that almost all the charges are irrelevant and they are simply cherry-picking information; nevertheless, I still do not support the Kan government.

The opinion that the Japanese government and TEPCO are intentionally concealing important information from the people (in the world) is a typical example of cherry-picking. Sure, they may have hidden some information from the public, but they have so much information overflowing that they may not have been able to get all the information out in a timely fashion. I don't think it was entirely intentional. If they were as clever as the US government then, they could hide information like the US government and they could play their cards well. They are simply stupid.
