Osaka City is a proper name, there aren't a bunch of Osaka cities! So you don't need 'the' to specify which one. You don't even need the 'City' part. Osakaだけでいいよ。
It can only sell it's name to one company.
'due to' is nicer sounding than 'because of'
You can name a city in Japan as you like.
If you mean ”自分の名前にする”then the above correction is right. If you meant ”好きな名前にする” then what I wrote would be more appropriate.
