The other day, I wrote about a strange rumor spreading in Japan. It was that “At the opening ceremony of the London Olympic games, only the Japanese team was forced to go off the field.” Thank you for reading my entry. http://goo.gl/Q8uhf

In this regard, the Japanese press has reported follow‐up. According to the news, the staff of the London Olympic games led the Japanese team out of the field by mistake. The Japanese vice team leader, Seiko Hashimoto, said that the International Olympic Committee(IOC) apologized to the Japanese team and she had no intention to protest further.

However, the rumor still linger in Japan. To make matters worse, a much more stupid rumor is spreading.

A person posted his opinion on twitter. He said “that the Japanese prime minister, Yosihiko Noda, distributed the badges made of debris in Fukushima to the members of the Japanese team. Because the debris included radioactive substances, the members of the Japanese team ,who had the badges during the opening ceremony, was taken out on the field. The British Broadcasting Corporation(BBC) broadcast the reason why only the Japanese team was kicked off while Japan Broadcasting Corporation didn’t it.”

Needless to say, this is completely wrong. However, I must admit that some Japanese people believe the ridiculous opinion. http://goo.gl/5Ldf0

I want to know how the news that the Japanese team was taken out on the field by mistake have been reported overseas if the new has also reported in other countries. Please tell me what do you think about the news.

しかしながら、この噂はいまだに消えていません。それほどころか、さらにおかしな噂が広がっています。

ある人物が、以下のような主張をツィッターに投稿しました。それによれば、「野田総理大臣が日本選手団に福島の瓦礫で作ったバッヂを配布していた。そのバッジは放射性物質を含んでおり、開会式で日本選手団はそのバッジを付けていたため、会場の外へ追い出された。イギリスのＢＢＣは、なぜ日本選手団が会場の外に出されたかを報道したが、日本の放送局はそれを無視した」とのことです。
