Have you heard of MyGendo? It seems that a web-based translation company founded in Tokyo. If I say web-based translation, you would think of something like the Google translation, which has often been made fun of its nonsense mechanical translations. It may work better for European languages, but the quality of translation of Japanese is not great.

MyGengo is web-based, but actually human-powered. You send a manuscript via the web system, and then the company's translators around the world jump to it no matter what time of a day you give the manuscript and quickly get the job done. It is available from three yen per word.

So if you have something to be translated immediately, it may be helpful. Or perhaps bilingual Lang-8 friends can make a bit of money through the company?

By the way, I have no connection to the company at ll, so I am not responsible for any problems you've found in the service.^^
