What truly Lang-8 is for...

I have 164 friends on Lang-8, but I don't contact with them and you very much. I know what I'll say from now on sounds very rude, but actually, one of the reasons I've made many friends here was that I needed many corrections to my journals.
However, Lang-8 is not only for improving language skills. There are so many things I can learn from people's journals and communications.
Now that I'm in Toronto, Canada, and will be in America for 3 months starting this month, so I'm thinking of more real relationship. I'll use Lang-8 for a communication tool rather than English practice. Of course, I use that for learning English too though haha
I think it's very nice if I can meet those friends (and you!) while I travel, which is very flexible in America, and it's also very, very nice if you visit Japan and see me, or even stay in my house (you can save money! haha), which would be in Tokyo (now, I don't have my own house, but I probably do a few months after I go back).
I want to see you. If you are in America, I might see you then!
Lang-8 is pretty nice :D

What Lang-8 is truly for...
I have 164 friends on Lang-8, but I don't talk to them or you very much.
This sounds the best, but if you wanna use "contact", you can say like "I dont have much contact with them very much". But, I think it sounds a little weirder..lol

Can't I say "Now that"?
I assumed that this is not what you meant, but if you say "now that" in this situation, that is what it sounds like, in my opinion.
For example "Now that I'm in Toronto, Canada, and I'll be in America for 3 months, I'm thinking more about real relationships."
OR, if you want to say "so", then dont say "that".
"Now I'm in Toronto and I'll be in America for 3 months, so I'm thinking more about real relationships."
In my opinion, if you have "so" and "that" in the same sentence, it sounds a little strange. Of course, you probably dont have to worry about it that much because it's not a huge mistake, but thats why haha.
I'll use Lang-8 as a communication tool rather than just for English practice.
Btw, thank you for your correction :)
