I passed the 3rd kyuu (sankyuu) test with score 325.

well, i think i kinda lucky to got the score, hehe
thanks to sandra-sensei for your guidance, also to yanti-sensei for being my "nihongo consultant", thanks also to ari-san for lending me previous nouryoku shiken test questions.

this year, i'gonna take the nikyuu, altough it kinda "impossible", but i will give it a try.

well, i got so litle time to study tough, with work hours from 9 am to 7 pm... (and studying programming at night)

but, i will give it my best! ganbarooo!!

今は新しい仕事が見つけた。

前の仕事より、給料は高いですけど、もっと忙しい　です。

ですから、日記がかけません　でした。

今は仕事がちょっとひまから、日記を書けます。でも、短いの日記だけです。

先週の土曜日には、初めに防具を使います。あの時には、すごくうれしいですけど、なんか　緊張していました。そして、防具の使うの時、動くは難しくて、暑いでした。
詰まり、楽しかったですか、苦しかったです。

そして、あの時にも、私は試合を始めて見ました。でも、私はすぐにまけました。ただ　１の秒に面をとられました。３０秒後で、面もとられました。

３０秒の試合、一番早く終わったの試合でした。

すごく負けましたけど、たくさんことをならいました。

やっぱり、剣道は面白いだと思いました。

後の日曜日、僕は剣道をやりました。(練習は日曜日になってしまいました、将方先生はjakarta から僕たちの道場に来たくれましたので)
練習の終わったとき、「あなたは来週から進ませた、次の練習簿具をきえる」先生は言ってくれました。
やった！
というわけで、今度の土曜日から、先輩になって、恵子をできます！
僕がとってもうれしかったんです。

来週から、本当の剣道がやります。

Finally, i could wear bogu!
Last Sunday I practiced Kendo (the practice moved to Sunday because Matsukata sensei from Jakarta is coming to our dojo)
At the end of practiced,　sensei told me “you are promoted, from next practiced you can wear bogu”.
Hurray!
That means, from next Saturday, I will become a senpai, and I will be able to do Keiko.
I was very excited.
From next month, I can do what the real kendo is.

My New year 2008 resolutions consists many points.. but for the most urgent i need to write, are these:
1. I have to know where to stop. I have spent time about 3 years to chase my dream to go to Japan (working there). If until March 2009 i didn't do any significant progress to it, i better stop and find another dream. Every years, I'm getting older. I dont want to waste any more time, i need to get my self settled. At least i have to find a job which can supports my own life.

2. Find another job, like mentioned above. My current job is really enjoyable. I mean, i really enjoy my job now, but it doesn't give me enough money to live.

3. Keep on practicing Kendo, and before March 2009, i must already have a right to wear Bogu (kendo armor)

4. If I really have to forget about working in Japan, then I planned to continue my Study, at least I must have a Bachelor in Informatics, or if possible, a Degree.

5. I must be a better person from 2008 me, I must be more mature, more wise, and such.

At any case, I must be better me than this year :)

As planned before, i took the 3rd level test.

About the test, I think I've done well, Hope so :D

The result will come up on around march-april 2009.

Well, it's kinda a long waiting...

剣道の道場は遠いの町にあります、スラバヤに。

道場を着くために、４時間で電車に乗ったがかかりました。

でも、やっぱりけんどは面白かったです。

また、来週に道場へいく　つもりです。

However, i have to travel for about 4 hours to reach the Dojo, which is located on Surabaya, the capital of East Java Province.

I left malang at 9.30am, and arrived at the dojo at 14.00. Well, that's quite tiring for sure. And moreover, i go there on motorbike..

My first training at Kendo was really fun, altough i just learn the basic steps (ashi sabaki) and basic "MEN" suburi.

After i finished training, then i watched "Senpai-s" (seniors) doing KEIKO with Sudo-sensei, Kendo Teacher from Japan, but now work in Indonesia.

We finished training at 16.45, and i arrived at home at 22.00.. really tired, but i think it's worth it. Because i really want to practice kendo .
And i think, now i begin to like kendo more.

Then, i searched for infos about how to get job there. And i found out that the most difficult to get is the visa. And then the cost of going and working in Japan is very high. And immediately I gave up them.

But 1 month later, i heard that there is a program from the government, to recruit employee to be employed in Japan. The program is about internship training in Japan.

By joining this program, we, Indonesian youth, will be recruited as trainee in many Japanese Companies, and will have a contract of internship training in 3 years.

The wage rate is about half of regular worker there, but as trainee we will have dorm and other facilities from company such as transportation and daily needs (not all but some of them). From what I've heard from many who is or who has worked in Japan, the daily life cost there is about half of their salary, so i think although we only get half of the standard wage, but it's sufficient to life in Japan.

Then, i joined a Job Preparation Program, to get a certificate to able to enter the Internship Program, for 3 month. And i graduated from this Program on April 2007.

In case of this program too, i studied Japanese by my self at home, and I trained my physic a lot, because they said that work in japan is very tough, and so the test; we have to run 3 kilometers in less than 15 minutes, and push up at least 35 time, sit up at least 25.

Then, on July 2007 the Selection Test for Japan Internship Training Program (let say it with JITP, but actually i'm not really sure that is the right translation from Program Magang Jepang in Indonesian) is held.

Then, i passed to the last round, which the remain applicant is only 60 from 628 at the first round.

This last round test is Medical Examination.

And sadly, i failed because i got myopia, my eyes have minus of 0.5.

Off course I'm disappointed, but i didn't gave up yet.

One year later, June 2008, i retake the test, and again i failed because of the same reason..

Now i got my self on despair, but didn't gave up yet.

With one last year to be able enter the program (max age is 25) I'm still trying and search as much as possible info about how to get going to Japan, and next November i will try my best to passed the exam, and i hope this time i will succeed..

それから、合気道と柔道がやりました。
でも、さいきん、合気道と柔道の稽古がやめました。
忙しくて、道場が家からが遠いですから。

それで、私が柔術の道場は入りました。柔術の道場が近いですから。

それながら　（i mean, meanwhile:D),家に、一人で剣のすぶりをやります。
木刀が持ってるです。

剣道がやりたいです。。　いつか剣道の稽古ができるかな。。

マランに剣道の道場がいるがほしいよ。。

I spent most of my time to read books. I ever had never get out of my house about 3 month (unless it's school time), just to read books.. (I got trouble to use the right this sentences)

I borrowed them from school library. Because my Father was working in my school, i got a special treatment that make me easier to borrow them.

when i was in junior high school, my favorite hobby was playing video games, on console either on pc. it last until i graduated from senior high school.

since i left the school and moved to collage, i began to like physical
activities, like sport or going to gym. But my most favorite one is Japanese martial arts.

I joined Tae Kwon do cub in my first year on high school, but i can't to stick on in more than 6 moths, the main reason are because of my other hobby in video games, and because sometime i got lazy to do some physics activities.

when i was in 2nd year, i joined a Karate club and doing practice until I graduated.

After i graduated from high school, i didn't attend any university or college, and work as cybercafe (I've been doing this job since 2nd year on high school), and still practicing Karate.

One year later, I attend a college in Informatics Technique course, and for some reason i stopped on practicing Karate.

On my 2nd year on college, i join an Aikido Club, and doing Aikido for more than 3 years, until i got a brown belt.

But again, for some reason i decided to take a rest of doing Aikido for some time, and i planned to re-doing it again sometime in the future.

While i'm still practicing aikido, i also had ever join Judo and other Karate Club, but i then i quit for various reason (well, maybe the most "reasonable" reason is because I'm not good at managing my time, as i have work, i attend a college, and i like playing video games :P).

Then, since i didnt join any martial arts or other sports club and i have graduated from college, i did jogging in most of my afternoon, or in the morning before i go to work. I work from 6 Am to 3 PM, 6 days on a week.

Lately, I joined a Jujutsu club, and now I've been practicing Jujutsu for about 5 months.

I really like Japanese Martial Arts, but i didn't able to join the Kendo club, the most favorite martial arts of mine. It is because there is no Kendo Dojo in Malang.

When i'm still practicing Aikido, there was a ken waza (sword technique), but it rarely to be taught.

But since i have some wooden sword (bokken) in my place, i often practicing suburi (sword swinging practice) alone.

I also bought hakama and keikogi.

But I wonder when i will be able to doing Kendo..

妹は、もう結婚しました。子供　も　一人います。

弟は、まだ小学校に勉強しています、６年生です。

弟は、私より、大きいです。１年生にとき、もう五十kilo になりました。

弟の一番好きことは、サッカです、それでも、まだ体が大きいです。

お父さんは小学校の先生です。私の元小学校で教えています。

お母さんは　主婦ですから、（do i use the correct word for housewife?)　うちにいます、

私は、十四才から、マランに引越ししました。あの時、妹はまだ小学校生　でした、弟はまだ二年才でした。

それから今まで、一年中に、お父さんとお母さんと妹と弟に一回しか会いません。　
寂しいですが、仕方がない。私は、勉強のためにマランにすんでいらなければなりません。

My name is Sunaryo, 24 years old. Indonesian.

I was born in a small village in Kebumen, Central Java.

It's a such a remote village. To get public transport (say that we need to go to the town), i have to walk about 6 kilometers, and the road is still field path. And my Village is located on top of hills, so if we want to go to town, we have to go down along, and when we go back, we should climb up..

Most of villager are farmer, about 95% or population i think. The rest is merchant or official servant.

From the time since i was born, my family use oil lamp as lightning. And we cook food using firewood.

I never watch TV until i got 11 years. even tough, the TV is using storage battery. and its only about 1 or 2 TV in my village, until around 1997.

Electricity reach my village on 2002 or 2003, not sure. At the time i was already moved to the City, Malang of East Java.

And now, since a year ago, there is public transport operate in my Village. So, if our villagers need to go to the town, they don't need to walk for kilometers.
