I made many bentos this spring.

Look at the first picture.
I made this bento for my youngest daughter.
When I put it on my Twitter, the author of this character, Mame-shiba, sent me a tweet.
I was so glad he said it was cute!

The second picture showed 'Hello Kitty', of course.
I have loved 'Hello Kitty' since I was young so I'm so happy that my youngest daughter also love her.

The last picture is a bento for my eldest daughter.
She doesn't like Kyara-ben already because she thinks it is childish.
I enjoy making Kyra-ben so it's a sorrow.

My six-year-old daughter wanted to invite her best friend, Nanami, to our house for a long time.
At last Nanami came and she is staying the night now.
They went to bed at nine o'clock.
When I opened the door at nine thirty, they were sleeping profoundly hand in hand.
They played a lot, chatted pleasantly and ate fully.
I closed the door with a smile.

Japanese Snuggle

We have Snuggle in Japan, too, but it's called FaFa.
I like fabric softener and I used to add Downy Spring and Renwal when washing laundry.
Recently I bought FaFa trip sereis.
They provide Tahiti, Russia, Dubai and Finland.
This spring, they added Japan.
Even though I use Finland now and enjoy it, I want to use Japan.
I heard Japan FaFa smells cherry blossoms.
Japanese love cherry blossoms best and it brings a mood of spring.
I'm tired of winter weather.

I took a weird photo like yowayowa camera woman diary.

I'm so happy.
The tip is shooting under the sunlight because you can get higher shutter speed.
Look at the first photo.
It is my daughter.
The second photo is taken by Hayashi Natsumi, my heroine.
Reading my blog, my father lent a new sony camera to me.
It can fix the shutter speed.
I'll try in my house again next Sunday.

This morning my six-year-old daughter got up without my help and said, "Good morning."
I handed her an onigiri and continued to prepare other family's breakfast.
I wondered why it was so quiet and called her.
She was sleeping again holding the onigiri.

When my daughter was having her breakfast, I told her to change her pajamas.
Her breakfast was a chocolate doughnut and milk this morning and she put chocolate on her face much.

"Yes, Mom," she began to change meekly.
It was a little hard to take her face out from her shirt.

"Nooooooo!" I screamed.
As she took her face out, her face was so clean and shinning.
"Where is your chocolate?"

I found very interesting site, yowayowa camera woman diary.
Hayashi Natsumi takes amazing pictures that she looks flying or floating in the air.

Her works fascinated me at once and I tried to shoot pictures like hers.

Though I was not sure what I did, I told my daughter, "I'm sorry. It was my fault."
"It's OK, Mom. Anyone makes mistakes," she cheered me up, "For example, I tried to give Cocoa (our dog) her toy..."
She continued, "I had thought it was her toy but it was the croissant that I was eating. So you don't have to mind it."
I was relieved of my worried but puzzled.
Why did she make such a mistake?
She didn't told me that she dropped her croissant so did she eat it?
She remained a mystery but I can say this, she has a tender heart and loves me.

We call a girl brought up with tender care hakoiri musume.
As you know, hako means a box, iri expresses "is in" and musume is a girl in Japanese.
They want keep their daughters from any bad insects.

Look at this picture so the cats remind this word, hakoiri musume.

My six-year-old daughter likes playing card games.
Her favorite is now "Moji-Pittan", lining up cards and making words from up to down or from left to right like a cross word puzzle.
When we were playing it, our dog, Cocoa walked on the game seat.
"...", all of us were silent.
After a while, Cocoa scattered the cards we arranged by kicking them and ran around the living room.
My daughter laughed and said, "No, Cocoa! You messed them up!"

Although my father bought an iPhone, he didn't know how to put applications in it so I told him.
He was so glad to know especially an application playing radio on the iPhone.
He said to his grand daughters, "I like best this application that plays radio. You can listen to by this 'Bruce Lee'!"
Every one in the room who heard it told him, "It's a bluetooth!"
"What? Bruce Lee is wrong? It's a bluetooth?", he lost his confidence, "OK. But can you say correctly, Bee?"
Asking by her grand father, my daughter of six pronounced clearly, "Bluetooth!"
English and computer terms are still difficult for elderly Japanese people.

My daughter doesn't reply at once when I call her for dinner, so she always remains at the table.
This night, I lay down by her on the floor.
She said to me,"Mom, your comics are so fun."
As some people know, I have comic blogs, Japanese one and English one.
Since I thought she read my entries on her iPad on the table, I answered a litter self-consciously, "They are?"
When I looked up at her, I came to know that she pointed to the comics that I was reading.

I love watching the sky with my daughter after taking a bath.
That night, we sat in the veranda as usual.
I said to her, "It's windy today so clouds are passing one by one. Look, that cloud is quick-footed!"
"Year?" she looked up the sky and replied, "Mom, clouds don't have any foot."
I knew it!
She doesn't understand metaphors yet.

When I worked at home drinking it, I wanted to talk about the dring to someone.
"It has no alcohol but you feel you got drunk, don't you?", I said to my daughter.

When my daughter was watching her favorite TV program, she brought my yoga mat in front of the TV.
I wondered why she did and asked her the reason.

My daughter put some of lemon juice into a glass of water by herself.
She didn't add sugar or honey so it was not lemonade.
What was it taste?
"Sour!" she screamed.
She might have put the juice too much.
"Sour!" she continued after she sipped her water again, "I'm becoming smaller when I drink it!"
I understood her.
Don't you feel like shrinking when you have something sour?

Cocoa, our dog, noticed something strange while she was taking a nap.
"Mom! Someone is coming!" she barked, "Bow wow!"
"Bow Waah! Mom! It is serious!"
Even though she warned me an emergency, it was funny that she was in the blanket and it was my husband that she heard.

Since my daughters had events in their nursery and school on the same day in the last month, I made their box lunches.
I like making kyara-ben, Japanese box lunch having some characters or something fun in it, so I consulted my favorite cookbook.
I selected キイロイトリ from リラックマ.

The first picture is my youngest daughter's one.
She said she liked it when she came home and she had finished it.

The second picture shows my eldest daughter's one.
She said she liked it, too but she ate it hiding from her friends because it looked childish.
Now she is in a middle school, so I give up making kyara-ben for her.
(It's a sorrow!)

The last one was for my husband.
It had no character but I used the rest of nori, Japanese seaweed, for his rice balls.
He had no reaction.
Maybe he wanted some cute character.

When my daughter came home from her nursery, she showed a strange look with a shivering hand and raising eyes.
Because she continued it, I asked her, "Hey, what are you doing?"
"I'm practicing!" she replied, "Everyone can show the white of the eyes well in my class but I can't. I want to get it!"
She said very seriously but I laughed imaging the sight that all 5-year-old children showed the white of the eye.
I must be a kind of horror.
It was happy that the white eye boom passed in one day and my daughter ended the practice.

On the way home from the nursery, since I heard thunder, I told my daughter, "You told me that you hated thunder because it might steal your bellybutton."

She laughed and said, "Really? Did I?"

I asked her, "Do you still hate thunder?"

She replied with a angry look, "Sure! Because it's the end if he steals your bellybutton. Even though it's only once, it's final."

It was funny that she was so serious though it was only ancient tradition.

(In Japan, we personify thunder. My grandmother used to tell me not to show my navel when I took a nap or Mr Thunder might steal it. It must have made young children not to catch a cold while sleeping I think.)

Our dog is called Cocoa.
In the holiday morning, my husband laid out his Japanese bedding on the living room floor.
Cocoa tried to take a nap by him, too, but his snore was a little annoying.
I took a photo because her distressed look was funny.

After a while, a drowsy feeling came to her and she closed her eyes.
Since her face looked like a child's one, I think it was funny, too.

When she got up, she brought her most favorite toy to play by him.
She played roaring with the toy for some time and left it on his head.
He didn't notice it.
