I had written entries on Lang-8 without sufficient consultation with dictionaries or textbooks.
Especially I didn't check up my grammar.
Enthusiasm for writing was much important to me.
So I was sometimes embarrassed to be corrected very simple mistakes and so on.
We call this way "体当たり" in Japanese.
It means "You walk before you think well."
I received a good grammar book yesterday.
I had never thought how important the difference of verbs was (intransitive or transitive).
And I feel my eyes open.
"体当たり" is not a sophisticated way to learn language.
I'll consult well the grammar book from now on.
...If only I feel sleepy when I read it.

Enjoy the communication.

Don't worry about grammar.
If your grammar was perfect, then we wouldn't have the chance to talk with you on Lang-8.
(There's a grammar mistake in my previous sentence; it doesn't bother me :-)
Have fun with language.
Your grammar will improve faster the more you enjoy using language.
Have fun talking with young children.
Young children make mistakes but you listen to their smiles.

Of course I agree with you.
I have learned English since I was thirteen and I like this language, however it is hard on me reading books or paper in English.
I'd love to improve my English faster!

Lang-8の友達に何度も教えてもらって悪いなと思っていました。 I was sorry to bother friends in lang-8 to correct the same mistakes.

文法は本当に大切なことですね。
毎回日本人と話す時、早く相手に自分の気持ちを伝えたいから、文法のことを全部捨てて、何か思い出したら、すぐ口から出てしまった・・・・
去年日本に行ったとき、日本に住んでいる従兄と話す時も、ずっと英語で喋りました。日本語で話すことが怖いですから・・・（従兄のお父さんは日本人ですが、子供の時アメリカに結構長い時間に住んでいたので、英語もペラペラです。でも、中国語は殆ど喋られないです。）
言語にもっと上手になるために、一番重要なことは勇気かもしれませんね。
私は度胸がある方かもしれません。
だから話してから、あるいは書いてから決まりが悪くなることがあります。
なので文法も勉強しなおします。
高校生の時には大学受験のためにたくさん、文法を勉強したのにほとんど忘れました！
