英語で、芝のはよく言われますが、花のは聞いたことがありません。

・よその花は良く見える
・人の持つ花は美しい
・隣の牡丹は大きく見える
・他人の飯は白い
・隣のぼた餅は大きく見える
・隣のものはかゆ（雑炊）でもうまい
・わが家の米の飯より隣の麦飯がうまい
というのがインターネットで調べられました。
たくさんありますが、日本で使うのも芝と花が一番、多いと思います。
