In Japan, there is a common blief that a person's blood type is predictive his or her personality.
Since I'm againt the idea, I always hesitate to tell my friends my blood type when they ask me.
People say that blood type A and O are good guys, but on the other hand type B and type AB are bad guys who like to make trouble.
This myth with unscientific basis helps to promote prejudice through the medium of television and magazines.
Everyone regards me as a one-track minded person when I criticize the myth.
The fact that A and O are majority in Japan makes it more difficult to abolish the blief.
Sometimes people whose blood type is B or AB lose their job opportunity.
I would like to make this stupid thing be done away with.

Saying "it's the personality that is supposed to be predictable by blood type" is not wrong, but you are just looking at the comment from one direction, and I'm looking at it from another. You would have to be told the blood type of the person in order to predict the personality (if you believe in the blood type/personality connection) if you wanted to predict personality just based on knowing a person has a type "x" blood type.
If you were never told a person's blood type, you could try to predict it by observing the person's personality, if you believe that certain blood types have certain types of personalities.

Yes, this belief must end!
