AXT : Lang-8 published to share a journal to the Facebook. (2)

I noticed the newest lang-8 blog's entry. They said the Facebook sharing have already revealed on lang-8.
They reveled the twitter linkage some years ago, too.

There was an incident that a hacker robbed a News twitter account and published a fake tweet and effected the stock market several days ago.
I think such linkage is convenient but, the other hand, dangerous.

Anyway, if I don't have a mistake, this journal will be published to Facebook.
Is it so dangerous?

http://blog-ja.lang-8.com/post/49936790131/facebook

AXT : Starting Cool Biz (3)

Although it's the middle, a weekday, of Golden Week today, I'm at work. The almost Japanese company allows their employee to wear less dress code like no ties, short-sleeved shirts and no jackets between today and the beginning of November called 'Cool Biz.' Of course, I wear off my tie from today.

Though it's still been cold at night so my young boy seems to be dripping nose.
However he is still big appetite. My daughter also goes to school between this Tuesday and Thursday. It'll be started that rest fragment of GW from this Friday.
We have no plan for the 4 days holidays at the weekend. Because we were busy for preparing our daughter's entrance of the elementary school so far.
Oh, I remember that I bought a yearly passport for the aquarium!

AXT : Good Button I misunderstood (4)

I misunderstood about "good" button on lang8 entries which shows to others as "1 people think this correction is good."

I thought this button seemed appeared and disappeared randomly, but there is having a genuine meaning.

That is the following.

1. The button appears on corrections except your own entries. This is also mentioned lang8 help.
See http://blog-ja.lang-8.com/post/19726872936

2. The button disappeared at your own corrections.

3. The button disappeared at your own tongue is not same as the writer's language which he/she want to correct with.

I don't know what else another.
Do you know it has another pattern?

AXT : Entrance ceremony at elementary school (1)

We all family attended the entrance ceremony of our daughter's elementary school yesterday.
I mainly took care of our younger two-year-old son instead he try to do something wrong.
In spite of image of entrance ceremony season, all cherry blossom has already fallen.
Our region has a lot of children in spite of facing decreasing children in Japan, so there are 6 classes in the first grade.
She went to a kindergarten far from the elementary school, so we aren't familiar with other students well, we knew my apartment members only. She was 3rd class and she didn't know whole of the members. Her most familiar friends and she were separated.

The ceremony was little bit boring so my young boy was fretful, So I had to go out till he was calm. After ceremony, she took her text book in her classroom while my son and I played on ground. Before we come back home, we took photos of ourselves in front of the ceremony board.
Anyway from today, she have to wake up at 6:30 earlier than kinder age but she is very cheerful.
She seems very looking forward to going to school.

AXT : The Patent Office mistakes (5)

I found a very thought-provoking topic in the internet today.
It is a report of why the Patent Office failed their project wasting 5.5 billion yen.

According to the report, the Patent Office aimed brand new system replacing of their complex business in order to reduce the term of their patent approving but they failed the project in spite of using a lot of money.

The main reason of the project was failed is by the Patent Office as orderer themselves.

First they made a main person transferred in the middle of project. Second they offered different order of the previous specification. Third in spite of returning the main key person, he was arrested by official corruption after he changed the way of the project.

It remind me it's too Japanese way in the information technology industry.

http://itpro.nikkeibp.co.jp/article/COLUMN/20121204/441882/

AXT : Sazae san (2)

It was so cold day yesterday that I stayed at home all day long. When I was a child, I used to watch TV anime sazae san on Sunday evening. Yesterday my daughter asked me to watch 'Sazae san', so we watched it. It has been broadcasting on every Sunday 6:30 PM since 1969!
As I wanted to know how many people watch it nowadays, I checked how viewing rate is and then it's very high viewing rate still like 19%. However the family style was changed from 1969 so the typical family like Sazae-san may be reduced and may even be a fantasy.
Because the family of Sazae-san looks like Showa period.
Anyway we had nice weekend in spite of being cold days lasting.

Yesterday it had a heavy snowing in the Kanto Region so the next day, today the snow still is lying on the ground. Tokyo is so weak about snow that there are a lot of delaying of service in public transportation. A lot of roads had still a lot of pilled snow, then I often watched a person who slipped down when I was on commute. (We aren't used to pile snow.) They looked like painful.

The before day of Yesterday, Contrary to Yesterday, It was fine day so I went to the park with my daughter and son. She gradually went well riding a unicycle. My son was playing by tricycle. I was tired because my wife hasn't come to the park, I had to take care of them alone. Because she went to practice the piano due to show their performances to our kindergarten teachers at soon being coming thanksgiving event of my daughters' graduating kindergarten.

Yesterday, We were staying home all of the day because of heavy snowing.
Today it is sunny day but it is still lying snow on the ground.

The title is an anime about time travel published in 2011.
(It's originally from Xbox360 game.)
I recently watched the anime and it's very fun to me.

The taste of the anime consists of Otaku culture like 2ch(internet slung) and 'John Titor' who was a real man appeared in the internet around 2000 and he said he was a time traveler.

The main character is 厨二病(syndrome of being behavior of like second-year of junior high school student[the word of 2ch]) so even his name is Rintarou Okabe but he often says himself as 'Kyoma Hououin' and he talked to 'someone' with his cellphone in spite of offline when he felt even bit shocked something.
Only 3 member of 'the future gadget research Lab' made the time machine which could send a 36 word to the past by chance.

My favorites of this anime is not only the detail of the story but also the characteristic of the characters.

I wrote till this, I noticed It's too difficult to convert 2ch words to English..

For this reason, if I realize some 2ch words more, then to be perhaps continued..
Anyway, thank you for reading to the end!

AXT : filesystem encoding trouble. (2)

Our NAS Hard Disk system was broken down in my company last year. The hdd had bit something important data so I tried to rescue the data. However I didn't have enough time to repair it, so I had stayed it being broken since last year.
Today, finally I could get enough time, I decide to repair it by myself.

In order to confirm how much the HDD destroyed, I connected it to another PC after it get rid of the NAS. Unfortunately, the Windows PC couldn't recognize the HDD. However I thought that a linux might recognize it because almost cheap NAS was made of linux. And it was true.
In spite of be able to see inside of the HDD, the file name was corrupted text.
It caused the filesystem encoding of broken HDD was SHIFT-JIS but the rescue Linux used UTF8.
So converting the encoding was necessary. It annoyed me much, but now I found a tool called 'convmv' written by Perl. It easy to use than another convert tool like nkf, iconv even then the large amount of files had to convert. Now the convert still last.

Anyway today entry is enthusiast, thank you for reading to the last.

I tried to find the way of improving English conversation for several days.
Then I noticed that online English school tend to fun of the 'callan method'.
The way is a native speaker ask question to the student and he/she reply answer as soon as he/she can by full of the sentence like 'yes,it is'.
I don't know how it's effective but I decided to join some kind of English school and try it because my English conversation level is almost beginner and some author said that it's more effective for beginner than intermediate or upper.
In addition, I found that it's important for writing a journal and reading news continuously.
I bought the Kindle for reading news everyday but I didn't write a journal recently.

I said to myself twice, why do I use more lang-8!
24th October I received an email about notification of selling start some kind of Kindle from Amazon.co.jp.
That was great news but I had already bought Amazon 'Kindle Touch' on Amazon.com in USA and it had already shipped to a forwarder in Portland. (In fact, It's my own first time importing from foreign country.)
Next my action is pay to the forwarder to send my kindle, but now the forwarder status is in transit.

What a great timing..

Additional information about Kindle is very complicated.

My kindle may USA domestic version.
Kindle previous paperwhite can't get ebooks in Amazon Japan. It meant my kindle couldn't read Japanese ebooks.
I don't know why but some blogger said it caused bios or programable reasons.
If you buy ebooks by US account of Amazon in Japan's Amazon, you should be consolidated between US and JP account.
I don't know what it means.

Anyway I noticed it's OK if I continue to read only English Books.

AXT : Urban and CountrySide (2)

I heard a very serious post on the Hatena bookmark, which is a social bookmark.

I'll try to summarize the post.

--
The contributor lived in countryside of Hokkaido and is temporarily living in osaka to study at an University now.
His story was about his father's job and the opportunity of job around countryside.
While he returned to his parents home in Hokkaido, he had seen his father lost his job and is recruiting but never be determined.

Most of countryside suffers draining people to urban around ten or twenty years so called 'Lost (Two) Decade'

His father suffered from depression so he wasted a time to play game made by gree, which is a major mobile game company in Japan. And more he was not good health.

Base on that, he asked the below question to viewer of his blog.

1. Is there some job for a person who don't have improving oneself and a good health and getting communication?
2. Can anyone bring such works to like countryside where it takes four hours to a million city?
3. Not limited that, Can works be poured from urban to countryside?

He received a lot of negative feedback.
Example: Same problem occurred around all over countryside in Japan. So it's not your father's problem but Japanese system problem. First he had to apply a public assistant. etc...

Original:
http://d.hatena.ne.jp/sanokazuya0306/20120922/1348323875

AXT : Which side do you ride on the escalator? (13)

Today, I found a very interesting article in a website.
I try to introduce the article.

Do you know Japanese manner about riding on an escalator?
In Kanto area including Tokyo, all of people ride on an escalator on left side when they aren't hurry up because we think the right side is for busy person like a business person.
In Kansai area, the side is opposite for Kanto.
Anyway it's same to be vacant one side for people.

However recently elevator companies have noticed us riding one side is out of design so it's dangerous and cause serious trouble.
Moreover handy cap passengers may be very difficult to fit this situation because they aren't able to use their right/left hand.

I don't know why the custom, what the article said it's not manner only custom, were spread.
However the article critically said Japanese think they do what they do.

How about your nation or region?

http://himadesu.seesaa.net/article/292902070.html

This is suggestion e-mail for my friend.
Please correct the below sentences.

--
This is one suggestion about your e-mail.
If you send a same e-mail to some people and they don't know each other, why don't you use BCC on your e-mail. If not, they will have known each other's e-mail addresses.
BCC means the blind carbon copy.
You can change CC to BCC by your e-mail soft.
It's impossible to return to the before, I don't mind of your e-mail.
However I hope you would take care about that in the future.
It's not my anger, only notice you about that.
(I'm male so I'm not taking care of it, however it might be delicate matter for female. )

AXT : Thank you (12)

I'm very confused about Japanese Word 'ありがとういございました.'
I thought it was past tense of 'ありがとうございます.'
(In Japanese they aren't really distinct.)

However if so, I should say 'Thanked you.' when the thankful matter occurred at past.

I think it's wrong.

How about you?

AXT : I bought a macbook pro but the display showed yellow lines. (1)

I bought a macbook pro and reached it yesterday.
However the display showed yellow lines like upper photo(the photo is my macbook's).
It wasn't good situation, it isn't always same, occasionally it's correct. I think this problem happened at booting after mac sleeping long. if I use it long, the situation wasn't occurred.

I called mac support, then he told me NVRAM cleared as suggestion. The way was pressing keeping Command-key and Option-key and P and R button at the same time after booting beep calling. if it's successful, rebooting twice.

I do that.
What's happened from now?

My old company ended yesterday and has just merged an another company today. The company name has changed from the before so today is birthday and death-day of our company.
This was the last event of my previous company.(I'm not sure that this 'previous' is correct because my company is present by different name.)
We went to Sagami Lake Pleasure Forest and barbecued.
This event concluded the farewell party about the company and one colleague who leaves our company at same time of that our previous company has ended.
We presented him t-shirt printed joke 'これはそれ' means 'This is it'.
He seemed to be very happy. My daughter also seemed to be happy because she played much with my colleague's daughters. Of course I played with them, especially water gun playing was very fun but very tired.
Although it's Sunday today, I'm in new office(it's wordplay only, it's just ordinal room.)

I'm very sad my parents' dog Marin passed away on Saturday.
He was 17 years old. He would be over 80 in human years.

He came to their home(which is not present my home.) 16 years ago. He was a miniature dax.

I recall several happy times example he wore (We made him wear) Japan National Team shirt on 2002 FIFA World cup. It was a dog version.

After I got a job in Tokyo, I left their home.
However whenever I got back home, he welcomed me wagging his tail.

In the 17 years, I got married and children were born.
I'm very worried about my mother being lost him.
