A friend of mine felt down while running on the highway.
Fortunately he only wounded his right arm.
He said the previous car was suddenly breaking and got out the way of the car.
However he lost control because of locking the front wheel.
Anyway, What a relief!

He said the previous car had to suddenly brake and got out the way of the car.
I don't understand this sentence. Was he in a car? Who had to get out of the way of the car?
However he lost control because the front wheel locked up.
