My American friends visited their Japanese female friend's room for the first time.
They live in the same apartment.
She took them the living room.
She had already shut the door of the other rooms.
My American friend thought that her acting was unfriendly and weird.
When he invites his friends to his apartment, he usually show all rooms for them.
In my case, I don't want to show my bed room aside from a house-warming party.
On top of that, I don't want to show my son's super messy room to my friends.
Japanese people are likely to hide the messy rooms or the bed room because it is so embarrassing.
What do you think about that?

I think you mean apartment because you talk about the different rooms later.

I think it's not normal to want to see into the private areas of someone's home. If I have visitors, I'd never show them my bedroom unless it's a very close friend or, like you say, a housewarming party.
Your bedroom is your private area. Of course you don't want other people going in there. And nobody would want visitors to see their son's home.
My writing makes my friends who corrected this entry confused.
It is said that Japanse people don't invite our friends to our houses.
As you know, our houses are small, we can't sing here so we go to karaoke boxes. haha
Thank you for your corrections.
I hope my son will get a girlfriend whose room is very organized.
Sometimes girls are worse than boys.
My rules used to be so long as I can close the door and it doesn't smell, it's okay.
My younger son has smelly feet. (>_<)
Thank you for your comment.

They live in the same building.
sorry if i misunderstood your real meaning

Hmm, if I show people my house I won't show them my mum's bedroom. It's her room, so I shouldn't take people there. But if they want to see around my house I will show them my bedroom.
My room is embarrassing even if it is clean. hahaha
I am exhausted to say that.
Oh, when I tried to clean up my son's room, I got injured of my little toe.
Can you believe that?
On top of that my husband, too.
He slipped on the books in my son's room.
I hate my their messiness!
Thank you for your corrections.
My room is really messy though. That can be another day. :P
Oh, by the way... my mum has not even noticed the bathroom so far!! I guess she hasn't gone in yet, or maybe she went in with the light off. "orz
I haven't told her I did it. lol
You use the bathroom everyday so you have to help your mum, of course!
Young men have to do the house chores and you'll become popular among young girls.
I don't think it's something young girls care about though. It only helps them if they live with me. But girls don't want to date me, so the skills are only useful for myself. haha
It means high educational background, tall, high income.
Now a lot of women like the guy who likes the houseworks because a lot of women have a job, they need such kind of men.
Also, I am not a tall guy. Kind of short. Only 172cm ^^;
You can try it as a volunteer now in your free time.
It is useful for you and you can be friends with people from other countries.
However I think accounting and economics are much better. haha
Accounting and economics are boooooring!! Especially accounting. Economics is better. haha
I've never felt this way until I had a business meeting in my apartment. My roommates were in the common room, so it was suggested that it be held in my room... That was awkward.
Japanese people in the city area live in small houses.
It was calld a rabbit house by non-Japanse people.
On top of that we like buying clothes so we don't have enough closet. (>_<)
