I took TOEIC test yesterday.
I was getting nervous, before the test, I went to a ladies' room.
After that I should have got back to the hallway lead to my classroom.
However I went the wrong way and I blundered into a men's toilet next to the ladies' room.
I realized my mistake, I tried to back out then I ran into a young handsome man.
He screamed silently at me with posing.
I was so embarrassed and said, "I'm sorry"
The reaction of the video was exactly the same as him.

緊張してるよ、テストの前にトイレに行こうっと。
そして教室に続く廊下に戻るはずでした。
しかし、間違えて、女子トイレの横の男子トイレに入りこんでしまいました。
間違いに気づいて、戻ろうとしたら、イケメンの若い男性と鉢合わせしてしまいました。
彼は声にならない叫び声をあげました。
私は本当に恥ずかしくて「すみません」と言いました。
このビデオのリアクションがまさしくその時の彼です。

That's a funny story.

You should of said to the man, "I'm all done now, you can go in."

I'm sure the man was already very confused. I think saying something funny is the best way to hide embarrassment.

  • He was silent but, from his body language, I could tell he was screaming inside.

    This is a way you could rewrite this to sound more natural.

 
I have done that a few times. It's embarassing.

What does "put off" mean?

It means that you are distracted. Like if you are thinking too hard about being embarassed about seeing the guy in the toilet, you can't focus on your test.

You could also say a bad smell put you off your food or that bad service put you off going back to a store.

そんな優しいのはjakenさんとうちの夫くらいですよ。笑
彼は「しまった、女性トイレに入ってしまった」と思ったに違いありません。
で、引き返そうとして、なぜか腕の形がシェーになったと推察します。
試験はこりゃだめだと思いました。(>_<)

Hello! I've only done that once before. I was at school at night and walked into what I thought was the Men's bathroom. When I looked around and didn't see any urinals, I kind of spread out my hands in front of me, crouched a bit and squinted my eyes. Something seemed so wrong, but I thought I was right. When you came to Japan, I hope you didn't make a mistake.
Yesterday I saw an elderly woman got out of the men's room at the station.
She didn't care whether men's room or ladies' room.

I will get the results in 30 days.
You are a teacher so as you know, a lot of Japanese people have to take it to get a job or for promotion.
However we are not good at speaking English. (>_<)

Yup. Speaking is something that requires practice. When I was in university and taking Japanese class, my Japanese speaking was OK because I could talk to other students or my teacher everyday. Now I live in Japan, but my job is teaching English, so I always speak English. My Japanese speaking isn't so good... ^^;;;
