My husband and I went to a furniture store to buy a leather sofa.
A sales assistant came in a second and started to talk about a lot.
I said to him, “We are just looking today.”
However he sticked to us and he kept talking to sell it so I was irritated to him.
In this case, what can I explain it to the sales assistant in English?
I want to say, “First We want to browsing them by ourselves, if we have some questions, we will ask you.”
I don't like to go to the car dealerships because They keeps calling us later.
I don't like the internet shopping so I have to battle their sales talk.
Could you give me some good advices?

I don't like online shopping so I have to put up with these kinds of sales talk.
If i don't want their advice ill just tell them straight though :P.
my advice, Bring a guy with you when you go shopping !
The title is “Japanese people can't say NO!” NOと言えない日本人
According to the auther, Japanese people can't say no to America and other countries.
We couldn't say no to the sales assistant.
Thank you for your corrections.
Stop talking persistent sales talk, tell me how to beat off them * be careful - the term "beat off" also means masturbation in English!!!!
With a second, a sales assistant came in a second and started to talk about a lot. or "talking at us"
However he sticked to us and he kept talking to sell it so I was irritated by him.

Thank you for telling me, I never forget it.
I made a mistake about election 選挙.
I used erection instead of election.
Joseph pointed out my mistake so I never foget it.
Stopping persistent sales pitches, tell me how to get rid of them (Yes, do be careful with the term "beat off" hehe.)
A sales assistant came over immediately and started talking a lot.
However he stuck to us and he kept talking trying to make a sale so I was irritated with him.
The way you said it is good. You can also ask for their business card. Then they will think you are not just ignoring them and you really will talk to them if you have questions.
If you really want to get tough you can say something like, "Look, if you want to make a sale you need to back off. There is no way I am going to buy something while you are hassling us." That should scare them away without being too rude. =)
I want to talk about the sofa with my husband first.
For example, “Do you think the size of the sofa is good?”
However some sales assistants are likely to cut into our conversation and they answer my questions instead of my husband.
It is a good idea to ask for their business card because they are competitive among some sales assistants.
Thank you for your corrections.
