I went to a robot exhibition in Yamanashi prefecture yesterday.
This was because my company was invited from the industry robot company.
The robot team in our company went to the exhibition.
We went to Mishima by sinkansen.
And then, we went to the exhibition place by shuttle bus for free.
The robots of the exhibition was interesting.
I felt that the level of the technology is very high.
When I returned home, my mother-in-law was taking care of my sons.
We had dinner with her.
She was going to stay overnight, but she felt like cold, so she went back home after dinner.

We went to Mishima by Sinkansen.
The robots of the exhibition were interesting.
If you are talking about multiple things, you use the word "were." Example: "The boys were good."
If you are talking about one thing, you use the word "was." Example: "The boy was good."
I felt that the level of the technology was very high.
If you are talking about the past, all ofyour words have to talk about the past. "is" is a word that talks about the present.
She was going to stay overnight, but she felt like cold, so she went back home after dinner.
If you are talking about temperature, my correction is correct. If you are talking about a "cold" as in being sick, the part of the sentence should say "..but she felt like she had a cold..."
I appreciate your detailed explanations.

This was because my company was invited by the robot company industry .
We went to Mishima by Shinkansen
and then we went to the exhibition place by shuttle bus for free.
works better as one sentence as the two sentences are closely connected.
That is why the other people weren't able to use the buses.
Thank you for correcting this post.
