I wrote an essay titled.

I want you to give me some writing tips.

Today it is said that the world is becoming smaller and smaller, and more and more global.

Then, one question arise.

Is national identity becoming less important in today's global society?

My answer is no.

First, today we cannot wipe out conflicts in some areas.

Such conflicts are due to difference of nationalities, religions, or more complicated matters.

If national identity were less important, such conflicts would not break out.

Secondly, although people can immigrate more easily than ever before, they never lose their identities.

Immigrants from other countries or areas make their own communities where they come to live.

Finally, languages play an important role in keeping their national identity.

Mother tongue is a symbol of their nationality, and it shows their own culture, sometimes even their tradition and history.

Unless people forget their mother tongue, their national identity is never lost.

Therefore, however global the modern society is becoming, people neverlose their own identity, or m even if we feel the society is becoming borderless, national identity is never becoming less important.

We should consider how we keep our own national identity in today's global society.
