interrogatives

I seem to have learned basically not putting interrogatives in the middle of sentences.
Can you say sentences like the following?

"Is this coffee shop open from what time to what time?"
"I know details of the circumstance around this."
- "About what?"

私は疑問詞を基本的には文中に置いていけないと習った気がしますが、下記のように言うことはできるのでしょうか？

「このカフェは何時から何時まで営業しているの？」
「私はこれに関する状況を良く知っているよ。」
- 「何について？」
