I was disappointed tonight.
I take English lesson online to Philippine every night. It was time for my lesson but she didn't contact me even though her skype was online tonight. I sent messages to her but she didn't replied to me. I reported about that to the office, they only offered me substitute time. They didn't notice me what she had problems. If a such kind of thing happened in Japan, probably a staff said I apologized........... but there was nothing.
One day another tutor gave me homework but she forgot about that. I asked her to check my work but she didn't. That was a student to forget homework not a tutor.
I recognized a nationality is difference every country. That place is the subtropics weather, I think the nation don't mind in detail. But I can't accept that character.

I'm feeling down.
I've been taking an English lesson online with a Filipino teacher every night.

I reported the situation to the office, they only offered me a makeup time.
They didn't let me know what kind of problems she was having.

It's expected that the student forgets the homework, not the tutor.
I recognized that people with different nationalities can have different mindsets.
That place has subtropical weather; I think they generally don't pay attention to detail.
But I can't accept that type of character.
I don't know if it has to do with the weather. But it's true that different cultures tend to put emphasis on different aspects of life. Japanese culture is very much built around respect and honor, that's why you would probably get an apology from the staff if it was a Japanese company.
That's one of the major things that attracts many people to Japan, including myself. In America, there are respectful people, but in my experience most people are actually very rude in nature, even the staff of stores and companies. But, I generally avoid doing business with companies and corporations as much as possible, instead preferring to deal with local farmers and craftsmen. They seem to care much more about their products and services than some giant corporate conglomerate that only cares about turning profits for their shareholders.
I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience, though.

今度の地震の時も東北地方で起こったので被災者達があれだけ整然と秩序を保って対処できたと言われてます。笑い話で大阪で起こっていたらと取り沙汰もされます。

“commentator“も日本語が英語に借りてる言葉ですね。
