My younger daughter is due to graduate from university this March, but without any employment.

As the employment picture for new graduates is very bleak this year, she cannot be blamed. Looking around in my neighborhood, there are lots of youngsters who don’t have any regular jobs. Looking at news on TV, there are many jobless youngsters all over the world. This terrible situation, however, is not restricted to this year, but next year it will be getting worse, I suppose. I feel pity for that.

My elder daughter does not have a good job at all but she is working happily and pleasantly, which is my relief.
Whatever work it may be, the important thing is that she feels happy with the work and finds joy in doing the work.

So, I would like to say to my younger daughter,
"You should select work with the priority given to happiness gained through the work more than payment through the work.

Take action. Move on.
While moving, you will know which kind of work makes you happy.
Everybody has the right to be happy.
