  • I chose a because I think that arrive go with preposition in.
  • I chose a because I think that arrive goes with the preposition in.
  • B is the correct answer. 'In' cannot be used here, so the sentence should be "Your completed application form must arrive by 2 October at the latest". You could also use 'on', but I think that 'by' is best in this particular sentence as it gives a deadline. Examples using 'by' and 'on': There's a party on the 7th. We need to hand this in by Monday.

  • #1/ your completed application form must arrive.......2 Octorber at the latest.
  • #1/ Your completed application form must arrive....... 2 October at the latest.
  • You can also write the date as "2nd October" or "2nd of October", although "2 October" is not incorrect. It really depends on personal preference.
