Sep 15, 2011 00:08 とある飛空士への追憶 anime movie Toaru Hikushi e no Tsuioku Mad House
The anime movie "Toaru Hikushi e no Tsuioku" is going to be screened in Japan starting on October 1st, 2011.

The movie is based on the fantasy light novel of the same title written by Koroku Inumura.

The novel was a bestseller, so I am sure the movie will be a big hit.

The movie is produced by TMS Entertainment, and animated by Mad House.

The title looks similar to the anime "Toaru Kagaku no Railgun," but they are not related at all.

The story brings together themes from the movies "Roman Holiday," directed by William Wyler, and "Castle in the Sky," directed by Hayao Miyazaki.

The world is divided into Eastern and Western countries.

A young pilot of lowly birth, Charles, takes on an assignment to rescue the young princess Fana, who has been under the enemy's protection, using his surveillance plane.

She somehow succeeds in getting away from the enemy.

He must take her to a safe zone 12000 km away, while avoiding a hail of gunfire.

Their flight to freedom begins.

He actually met her once when they were children.

Since his memories of her gave him the strength to live, he desperately devotes himself to protecting her from the enemy.

After seeing him fly and dodge bullets in the sky, she starts to become attracted to him.

This is the opening part for twelve minutes..
