A Trip To Gero Spa (875)

My dear friends and teachers on Lang-8!
How are you? I'm not bad as usual and I came back home after a long drive about an hour ago.
Here in Japan, we have a lot of national holidays from April 30th to May 5th, which we call this week as "Golden Week".
It's May 2nd and I went to a nice place in my prefecture "Gifu" which is located almost center of Japan.
It was a fantastic day and we enjoyed some hot spa(s? countable or uncountable?) in Gero. We took an outsided bath called "Roten Buro" Please refer to the pictures I show you today.
Generally speaking, we Japanese sometimes like to take a huge bath outside although we usually take a small bath in our house.
Beautiful landscape, delicious food.... this became another trip we remember!

I went there with my family, cousins, grandparents and of course with my boyfriend. haha

I hear you have a nice event in Shanghai.

I think "spas" is correct. I heard it before in a conversation. ^___^

I think it's kind of early to have a vacation but that is because our vacations are more spread out. n__n

In Japan, there are tons of spas. Today, I slept all day long and I did nothing in particular. haha
Yeah! I will write about my "goldenweek" on 5th or 6th.

I have a picture right now of the bathing monkeys in the Japanese mountain springs! If I were an animal, I'd be one of these monkeys! hehe!
I want to go to a place like that, too! In fact, I had to work on Golden Week this year. =( But I've been doing very fine and energetic (or hyper?) as always! Yeah, Japanese baths are extremely small. I'm lucky because I'm so short. :P
I bet it is hot and humid there in Taiwan.
Here in Japan, it is the best season in a year. Not hot and not cold.

You are right. We can see some monkeys in the specific spas in Japan.
However, I've never enjoyed spas with monkeys. haha
