About me

I'm a programmer at the State University of Londrina (Brazil), graduated and master in Computer Science at the same university.

I've been always interested in other cultures and languages.

I used to study Spanish while in high school (I thought it would be useful for me because of all of Brazil's Spanish speaking neighboring countries), I was reasonably good at it 15 years ago, but after a lot of time without practicing I'm really bad at it right now.

I also studied English for a long time since high school until half of my graduation. The nature of my area (computing) made me improve significantly in my writing and reading skills, although my speaking level is probably really low.

I love the way English allows me to make friends from any country. I had already made so many friends here over the last 4 or 5 years and I found out that's what really motivates me to keep improving.

My main interests are road running (https://www.strava.com/athletes/25221294), reading books (https://www.goodreads.com/hfluz), watching TV shows (mostly American ones, but also some Asian dramas and Japanese animes) and playing videogames. I also like to walk with my dog, a 2 year old Shih Tzu, every morning and early evening.
