There's basically two ways to write the passive voice in spanish, one is:
"la manzana es pelada" 'The apple is peeled'
The other is:
"Se pela la manzana" here "se" is a conjugation of the verb "ser", 'to be'. This two forms have the same meaning! I guess we can call it the 'Yoda' voice.
Let's see what happens when we use this voice with the verb in this example: "trabajar"
"el domingo es trabajado" This doesn't make sense, because days aren't 'worked', they are 'worked on' (or in? sorry, I hope you understand what I mean)
So we are forced to use the second form:
"se trabaja el domingo", let's make that negative plural:
"no se trabaja los domingos" Tada~!
That was fun, I hope you understood it, maybe someone can make a more formal explanation and actually name all the forms and stuff, I personally lack the knowledge.

Then I have another question. If the sentence "In Europe people don't work on Sunday." takes place in Spanish; En Europa no trabajan los domigos."
This sentence is right?

"En Europa, las personas no trabajan los domingos."
You omit the subject but leave the verb conjugation intact, so it's clear what you are talking about. This happens all the time in Spanish, and noticing when it does can be useful for achieving a deeper understanding of grammar.
