It is just a draft. Feel free to add some ideas to both, first and second paragraphs.

It has been almost 50 years since M. Luther King Jr. remarkable ad-libbing ‘I have a dream” speech. Although there are still lot work to be done in order to narrow the gap between white and other minorities, I would argue that there have been massive improvements in terms of equality between black and white.

Some suggest that the world is still almost the same it used to be at King’s time. Afro American and Hispanic people are paid less for the same jobs.

However, opportunities that by that time were unthinkable for black people are now possible, such as voting, going to good schools and even using public spaces that are used by white people.

Overall, there are still room to narrow the gap that exist between people, yet M.L King speech and his efforts seem to have paid off.
