I am at a loss whether to go to a reading circle or not.

I found a reading circle has been active in my town on SNS(mixi).


I am a reader. (Actually, almost a bookworm.)

So I want to take part in that.

But a reading circle is not so common in Japan, so I am at a loss whether to go to that or not.


Is that popular in Europe or America isn't it?

I don't know if that's popular in Asia expect Japan.


If you have take part in that, tell me thats atmosphere please.

Is that really like the movie "The Jane Austen Book Club"??

Book clubs in general are very fun, especially if the leader is very energetic and talkative!

However, as for "The Jane Austen Book Club" that movie is very exaggerated. Book clubs aren't like that, life isn't like that. It's just another very very "unrealistic" movie based on a book club topic -.-

You know what? I suggest you go, what do you have to lose? If you don't like it you can stop going! Just give it a try ^^
