About me
My blog (for language-learning tools): http://drfranktm.wordpress.com/about/
I will try to update it more often in the future.
I would like to learn many languages, but Japanese is my priority right now and Korean is a close second. Because of that, I will only approve friends requests if your native language is Japanese or Korean. I hope you'll understand.
I worked as an English teacher in Korea for three and a half years and enjoyed it quite a bit, but I want to work on educational technology now, so I am going back to school - to study, I mean. In 2011, I want to prepare audio flash cards for French verbs, and get started on a database of Korean language patterns.
Still reading? Here are a few websites that you can use to learn French. I will explain what each one does.
The first one is a well-structured French course for complete beginners. If you know nothing (or very little) about French, it is a good place to start.

The second website has many different things, but the coolest part is the one I am linking to, I think. There are tons of activities with French songs. You can listen to the songs and try to fill in the blanks. There are many different kinds. It's not easy for complete beginners, but I'm sure you'll enjoy it once you have learnt a little more.

The third one is for learners who are a bit more advanced. It has all sorts of great activities. I think it will be good once you finished all of the activities that are on the first website. (TV5 is a French (from France) TV channel, by the way.)

The fourth one has listening activities using videos. I think it might be useful when you already know the basics. It might be good practice as you go through the first website too.

I'm adding another one that was suggested to me by a friend: Radio France Internationale.

NOTE: IF YOU WANT TO TYPE FRENCH WORDS WITH ALL THE RIGHT ACCENTS, DO ***NOT*** CHOOSE THE FRENCH KEYBOARD OR THE CANADIAN-FRENCH KEYBOARD. THEY ARE STRANGE AND WILL BE VERY DIFFICULT TO USE. USE THE "US INTERNATIONAL" KEYBOARD INSTEAD. (YOU CAN CONFIGURE THAT IN YOUR COMPUTER'S SETTINGS, WHETHER ON WINDOWS, MAC OS OR LINUX.) IT WILL BE MUCH EASIER TO USE, WHETHER YOUR COMPUTER HAS A KOREAN, JAPANESE, CHINESE, US-ENGLISH OR CANADIAN-ENGLISH KEYBOARD. YOU CAN LEARN ABOUT THE "US INTERNATIONAL" KEYBOARD HERE: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keyboard_layout#US-International
