I read a book written by one of the most famous Japanese English teachers, Mr. Satoshi Sugita. The title of it was “Skills of speaking to make others take actions (人を動かす!話す技術).”

https://www.php.co.jp/books/detail.php?isbn=4-569-62287-9

I learned that there are four levels in the aspect of listening; the first level is “sensing”, the next one is “interpreting”, the third one is “evaluating”, and the forth one is “responding”.

For communication, listening skills are the most important and for the good communication, the thing which you should keep in mind is “KISS (Keep it Simple and Specific).”

It also says that, we should try to improve our pronunciation because if our pronunciation was bad, listeners must have hard time when they understand us. ^^;;
