I learned that medical fee were free for elderly people for ten years since 1973.

Because of that, many elderly people were hospitalized by their families.

Most of them were forced to being just lied on the beds and their joints got contractured and they developed bed sores and died in the hospitals eventually.

At the time, doctors prescribed rehabilitation to straighten patients legs so that they could be put in the coffins.

Maybe, elderly people nowadays might be happier, because their medical fee isn't free anymore, huh? ^^;

もしかしたら、現代の高齢者は医療費が無料ではなくて幸せかもしれませんね。^^;
