thank you for your correction po!

but I couldn't translate "kaibigang".
this is my big problem.

always somebody correct my diary, but I can't translate tagalog word well.
I use these site here.
http://www.stars21.com/translator/english_to_filipino.html
http://tagalodic.com/

but "kaibigang" doesn't appear.
Is there good dictionary Tagalog-Japanese?
what do Philippine use for translation Tagalog-Japanese?
I seems learning tagalog is more difficult because there is no good tagalog dictionary.

yeah..it's hard to find a good tagalog dictionary

the root word for "kaibigang" is "kaibigan"
you add the "g" to make it possessive. much similar to adding "の" in japanese to show that something owns another.

There are 3 ways to make your nouns a possessive noun
1) "na" - add this if the letter before that is consonant except if it's "n" like...
"makulit (na) tao" or "mabilis (na) tren". notice the letter before "na" is consonant (t, s)

2) "ng" - add this if the letter before that is a vowel like...
"maganda(ng) babae" or "mahaba(ng) buhok" notice the letter before "ng" is a vowel (a, a)

3) "g" - add this if the letter before that is "n" like
"kaibigan"g" kong intsik"

Maraming salamat cami-san po!
possessive!!!!
it's difficult...

1) "na" - add this if the letter before that is consonant except if it's "n" like...
"makulit (na) tao" or "mabilis (na) tren". notice the letter before "na" is consonant (t, s)

i couldn't understand well.
makulit na tao=Persistent husband=しつこい夫(shitukoi otto) or 執拗な夫(shituyou na otto)

mabilis na tren=fast train=速い列車(hayai ressya) or 高速な列車(kousoku na ressya)

are they right?
"na" can add inside Japanese sentence also!!
omoshiro~~i :D
possibly, mabilisna tren? is it united?

2) "ng" - add this if the letter before that is a vowel like...
"maganda(ng) babae" or "mahaba(ng) buhok" notice the letter before "ng" is a vowel (a, a)

oooooooooooo!!
"a" is ng!

3) "g" - add this if the letter before that is "n" like
"kaibigan"g" kong intsik"

and "n" is g!
OK!
i see!
wakatta yo!

sugoi ne, Cami-san wa!
you looks like teacher :D
namae mo!
your name also.
your name is 神(かみ).
it means "God"!!

神様Cami-sama for me daaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

Maraming maraming salamat po!
(this is also! ng!)

Tomo san, just keep on studying. sorry 'cause I can't think of any good Tagalog dictionary as of now. がんばって!!

..Just a little clarification:

using 'intsik' for chinese is acceptable but for the exact translation you could use the term 'tsino', 'cause as far as i know the term 'intsik' is technically for mongolians(according to my college book and my prof.), anyway either of them (tsino, intsik would be fine)..

saigo-san, don't mind! (にほんふうにいえば、ドンマイ!)
I'll go forward little by little :P

Gebreiru-san, thank you for your info!

1) makulit na tao=Persistent husband=しつこい夫(shitukoi otto) or 執拗な夫(shituyou na otto)

>>persistent husband/wife = makulit na asawa
notice that the ending letter of the adjective "makulit" is "t" which is a consonant so you say "makulit na asawa". Not "makulitng asawa"

>> hahaha... そうですね...
"mabilis na tren" is correct. you can't say "mabilisna tren"

2)"a" is ng!

>> "a" is not the only vowel. another example maybe "malaking pinto" = huge door
add the "ng" after the word "malaki" (malaki = big/huge). Notice that the letter after"malaki" is "i" which is a vowel. With "ng" you combine it with the adjective itself.

gwapo = handsome (gwapong lalaki)
marami/madami = many/a lot (maraming tao)

>>you add "ng" to any adjective that ends with "a" "e" "i" "o" "u"

3) yes! when the adjective ends with an "n" you add a "g"

ahaha. That's how my japanese friend calls me...hahaha 神さま.^^
and...correct! "maraming salamat po!" I'm glad you understood...^_^
hehe
