The settlement of Iceland happened in IX, as result of embodiment of Norway under power of King Harold I. Most of families who ran in the conflict were constraint to run away for searching new place for leaving.
Progressively as Iceland was settling the government system was formed. In every province was “Ting”, where the disputes were decided and held a court. For decision of the most important questions representatives of different districts came together at the start of summer.
