I made deep fried fish for dinner since I was able to buy some fresh fish called "アジ” or aji at a grocery store. It is also called as "アジフライ”, which is a popular dish at many restaurants in Japan, but is also popular for home cooking
Since I had them fillet into three pieces each at the grocery store, all I had to do was very simple.

Here's the process.
1. Season the fish with salt and pepper
2. Coat them with flour and dip them in a beaten egg. Then cover them with panko, breadcrumbs.
3. Deep fry until the cover become golden brown.


I thought my son would like this and was planning to put it in his lunch box tomorrow, but he just had a bite and said "I only like the cover. I don't like what's inside".

The taste was pretty good , though.
My husband liked this.
