Hi everyone.

This is just a brief lesson on how to use internet slang when chatting with other English speakers. The ones that I'm listing here are used quite frequently, so I hope some people will find this useful. Also, my Japanese is not very good so please bear with me.

1) lol = laughing out loud --> 笑

2) h/o = hold on --> ちょっと待って

3) brb = be right back --> すぐ戻る

4) afk = away from keyboard --> ここにいない

5) np = no problem --> 問題無い

6) btw = by the way --> 所で

7) g2g = got to go --> もう行かなくちゃ

8) ttyl = talk to you later --> また話しうよう

9) cya = see you --> じゃあ、また

10) gnite = good night --> おやすみ

And now for some more vulgar ones (for those who are interested). Feel free to STOP reading here.

1) roflmao = rolling on the floor laughing my @ss off --> 地上でローリングしながら大笑する

2) wtf = what the f**k --> 何あれ

3) stfu = shut the f**k up --> だまれ

4) gtfo = get the f**k out --> 出てけ

5) fml = f**k my life --> orz
