fumi0826 : I like NY (0)

If I can choose a city where I travel, I definitely choose NY. Last year, I went to NYC with my friend Amy. We visited MoMA and enjoyed pictures of Mone and some other contemporary arts. And we went to Yankee Stadium to see a baseball game In the game Jeter hit a home run. It was exciting.
In night time, we went to a jazz club Blue Note and drunk gins and beers. We talked that american steaks and hamburgers were much more tasty that those of Japan.
It was really fun time. :)

fumi0826 : Golf on Wednesday2 (1)

For lunch, I ate a Tenpura, and my sister ate a Japanese udon, and my father ate a beef curry. In the afternoon, we played in-course. From 1st to 5 hall, I played well. My score was +7 as well as my father. My sister's score was +10.
But at 6th hall, I hit 13 with 3 OBs. My shot with driver bend to right... I assume that is because I was tired. After that I couldn't recover my concentration, then total score was 115.

[might be continued]

fumi0826 : Golf on Wednesday1 (3)

I played golf last Wednesday with my father and sister in Tokyo. I'm getting a good golf player.
The total score was 105, and this is my best score.
In the first hall, I hit 9. I failed to hit the first shot with a driver. My sister gave advices to me. First, I swung more compact than I did for back swings. Second, don't sway left when I'm on back swing.

[to be continued]

fumi0826 : Help me about English pronunciations. (3)

My toefl teacher says that "r" pronunciation is following.
------------
For the "r", keep your tongue down and purse your lips. Don't round the lips.
------------

This is totally different from what I've learnt for 15 years.
What I learned about "R" pronunciation is that moving my tangue back without touching any part of the inner mouth. (どこにも触らないように舌を後ろに倒す）
confusing....

But, as I watch "gossip girl", when they pronunce R, all members (Nate, Chuck, Serena, Dan
etc) except Blair move their mouth as my teacher said
So, I guess my teacher is correct.
I'm really confusing...HELP ME, please ><

And, I found one blog which mentions 2 ways of R pronunciation. I think the blogger is correct.

How do you think about this?

fumi0826 : Fun time in Tokyo (5)

I've lived in tokyo for over 20 years. I like to enjoy good restaurants in Tokyo such as Sushi, Italian, French, and other more casual food of Japan such as Okonomi-yaki, Udon, and grilled fish.
[two "such as" this shows little intelligence LOL]
Tonight, I went to a Italian restaurant, GARB, in Marunouchi, the very lively part of Tokyo, with my friend Hikaru. She is a friend of my university. We ordered a fruit salad, acqua pazza, and nyokki.
We've not met over one year. We were surprised at that. But soon after we started to talk, our talking became no more awkward, and we talked naturally as if we meet everyday.
I like this kind of relationship.
She talked about her new-born douter, Sae. Hikaru showed me photos of Sae. Sae is really pretty :)

It was really fun time.

fumi0826 : English skill (6)

How can I improve my english skill? To improve my reading skill, I think vocabulary building is the best way. For listening, it is hard one. I know that. But I don't know what is the best way to improve my listening and speaking skills. I watch GossipGirl everyday I can often understand what they are talking word by word. But sometimes I can't completely catch what they are talking even though the phrase is easy and familiar one, or I see the English script.

Long way to good english speaker.

fumi0826 : My favorite sports (2)

I like tennis. When I was an university student, I was in tennis team. I was a beginner of tennis, so I couldn't rally more than five times. My team had practice sessions three times a week. But I wanted to be a good tennis player so I additionally joined another tennis club. In addition, I did running in order to gain physical power. I kept doing that for four years. As a result, I won some tennis matches when I was a senior. Now, I love tennis.
